What a crappy day to open. Why not wait until Fri and have a 3 day big extravaganza?? No, you have to do it before Halloween when all the little kids will be out trick-or-treating. Or they should be. Makes me sick this place will open just before Christmas too. The money that should go to help people during the Holidays will now be fed to the greedy pigs that own this casino. Just makes me sick. Its always all about the money, it seems, no matter where you turn, never for the general good of the people.

Never for the general good of the people? I think they are getting ready to put some people to work there from this area!

Have to disagree with you Arctic Fox. The location will not only have a casino. It will include 4 restaurants as well as an entertainment area that will bring in musical acts and shows. Many people that like to gamble will be bringing their money to the area and local businesses will benefit from this as well. The casino will be employing hundreds of individuals, me being one of them. Nobody said you have to gamble. If gambling isnt your thing then dont gamble. Come enjoy one of the best buffets in the area or one of the only locations locally that will have live entertainment. I can comment that each and every person ive met so far in the Isle of Capri has been extremely helpful and friendly. The location will be one of the nicest places in the area with some of the best food and live shows. If that sounds good then come see us!

Yes, they had 9.000 people who applied for 500 jobs AND THEY ARE STILL LOOKING. Guess the 8,500 or so were not up to their standards, however, their money will be welcomed I'm sure.

Go throw some of yours at them then. Like people don't have better things to do with their money. There will be a lot of hungry families and disappointed chidren and elders this Christmas. I would rather see the money go to those causes (will the Casino run pink lights for breast cancer? Violence against women?) No it just relieves idiots like you of your money. They know people have the most money at this time of year and they would like to relieve you of it. The buffets and dining and shows are to get you in there...to gamble. I'm surprised, like a lot of casinos they don't offer free drinks, at least. The money you throw away could have gone to a good cause is all I'm saying.

I am very excited about the new casino in this area. My husband and I have worked hard all of our life and we enjoy going to the casinos. It is our entertainment once in a while. I think it will be good for business in Cape also.

You idiot. I don't gamble. Where did I say I do? Oh, that's right, I NEVER SAID OR INDICATED THAT. You're just embarrassed because you didn't know the answer to such an obvious question, so you're grasping at straws for a reason to jump my case. You're really, really stupid.
