Bethlehem casino gets name

Now that the debate is over and the steel is being erected to build a casino in south Bethlehem, the gambling hall finally has a name.

Clean up South Bethlehem before the opening in 2009! The entrance way into the city via Rt 378, Five Points Area and E 4th St looks like a DUMP!

I saw the plans for improving the sidewalks etc as part of the one way pairing but my question is what are they going to do about the old Getty Mart lot and the Ye Old Tavern or whatever that barrel says? I think someone should buy that building, fix it up, get rid of the barrel and put a big screen TV up there in its place. Times Square-Bethlehem.

Laugh, but it would be a heck a lot better than what it looks like now.

I like the concept of making Rt 378/Five Pts interestion into a Times Square. That area really needs to be updated, especially at night, there needs to be more lights. I thought the old Getty Mart would of been a good location for a Dunkin Donuts since it has a parking lot instead of where they put it (old Bethlehem Sporting Goods Location.) Their has to be lots of improvements on the southside and not just SIDEWALK improvements and the plan should not take the next 20 years. They should of been working on this.

I hope there was not contest for such an obvious name. There is zero creative effort in that. The logo is the same one they use everywhere. Not sure why this is even in the paper.

The stereotypes are great and as accurate as all stereo types are. Everyone that says these things thinks that one casino=Vegas or AC. This isn't the case.

No area with one or two casinos has experienced an increase in these areas. In fact, most of the people in them are senior citizens who are not looking for whores or crack.
