This only means we will have even more visa workers here that are taking jobs away from the residents of Ct. Many of these visa workers are bussed in from New York, So the money they make goes either back to New York or back to the Country they came from. Many do not speak or understand english and don't care to learn it. Many more are bunched into apts and condos then bussed back to New York on their days off. I for one don't gamble and laugh at the decline of customers this past quarter. People need to hold on to the money for the rising gas prices and tax hikes when the Democrats take full control of our money. If the Dems take over the White House your wallets will surely get lighter and the casinos will lose even more customers. Who do you think they will lay off first? The Visa Workers or the Americans?

Mohegans is way better than Foxwoods in most areas - better shopping, etc. but the only reason my family ever goes to Foxwoods is because they have BINGO - Wish Mohegan Sun would bring back BINGO. We play the slots before and after BINGO! Also, love Twin River.
Foxwoods has lousy service - stand in lines for everything! and wait way too long if your lucky enough to hit something on a slot machine that requires hand payout instead of the tickets.

moheganson has since opening has changed its pay out on slots?( verry bad pay out) mgm grand will start its pay out verry good for one year i will be going to mgm grand i believe casions will suffer if the continue there present ways of (pay out) tactacts

I have been going to Mohegan since they opened. I go once a month. I have won 1 time for a thousand dollars. I feel that they pick who they want to win. It's not random by the machines. I was there last weekend i had been playing for about 4 hours i see this girl wslk in and put $20.00 in the machine and one of the workers stands behind her with a pen and book and now she hits a jackpot. It seemed like he already knew that she was going to win. She gets her money and leaves. The people that been there a while is just mad like me. I then felt that it is fixed and the people watching the cameras above the machines pick who they want to one.

To get to Mohegan Sun you take an expressway. To get to Foxwoods you take two lane roads and about 10 miles of them from either Rte 395 or 95. It takes a very long time to get to Foxwoods. Mohegan will always have an advatange over Foxwoods for that sole reason alone (the roads). If the casino is easier to get to and more conveinent the public will continue to go in more numbers than one that takes more time.
If Foxwoods ever wants to overtake Mohegan an expressway is going to have to be built to there. i guess you don't gamble or spend alot of time there (and thats ok) but the main reason is attitude ... the mohegan tribe are quality citizens and have treated their employees fairly, in turn the employees are happy and it shows - even with the union at foxwoods, their people are miserable and no matter how hard they try - it shows thru ... the mashantuckets in power are thugs and always will be ... the mohegans have proved to be honorable people - their past and present members should be proud ... no superhighway is going to fix foxwoods unless the real mashantuckets (haywoods) are returned to power and quality management returns in ledyard
