Never Ever deal with this company "Megan's Mansions" or their side business "Lidna's Furniture" They stage homes and sell furniture. You pay in full upfront and then later on they deliver fake furniture made from china, not what you see advertised. Leather products they sell as Italian Leather in fact PLASTIC, and if you want to get a refund, good luck, I took me 6 months to get my money back after emailing, calling them at least twice a week. Horrible experience! Simply put they are scamming people!

Jamen, I'm looking for additional reviews on this company and it appears there are a couple of different spellings that make it difficult to find information on the company (Megan vs. Meghan). I also can't find a California based company called Linda's Furniture at all. Does that side business have its own website?

I read the reviews over at the OC register and was struck by the comment that stated sometimes staging furniture is created specifically for show and isn't meant for actual day to day use. I wonder if that is a common practice?

i noticed some of their furniture is WAY over priced. i bought some of the same furniture from a local furniture place that buys right from a catalog which makes it real easy to get a good deal becuase it comes straight from the wharehouse. WOULD NOT BUY FROM MEGANS MANSION. SCAM!!!!! SCAM SCAM!!

Wish I had seen this earlier. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month now. Going to file in Small Claims Court.

Agree; never do business with Meghan Kelly

Considering buying a lot of furniture from these people. I have read the reviews, so now I am concerned. So the items they sell in the models are not the items you receive? Is that correct? Please, if anyone has had any recent experience with the women, please let me know asap.

I actually bought a bed from them and night stands. They initially delivered the wrong furniture and mine was delivered to another home. They did correct the situation and didn't charge me delivery. I do love my furniture and get a ton of compliments. I had issues connecting with them and understand the frustrations with that but I was very persistent and would call every day. I felt I got a great price for my furniture. I was considering getting a few more items but due to the other comments I'm a bit skeptical.

wow - I've been wanting a sofa and a set of slipcovered chairs they have in their photo album for months and now that I'm moving I was about to pull the trigger and order the chairs. They do seem incredibly affordable compared to others of their kind that I've seen out there. I spoke to both Linda and Megan and of course they are 'not in stock' at this time so i can't actually see them in person but Ican order them. Now i'm hesitant - is this a ploy to get me to purchase cheap crappy furniture sight unseen? I reallly love the chairs and have been emailing other vendor to see if they can make or get them but so far nothing. Do any of you know anyone who has had a good experience with these folks?

I purchased several pieces of furniture from them and couldn't be more pleased with the quality or the service. I know there are always disgruntled customers and I know, too, how much it can damage a reputation just to have one or two unhappy clients. But let me go on record as saying this was a super decision I made to buy from them and I will definitely buy more and have told all my friends to do the same.

When I first moved to Huntington Beach I had a house full of furniture I did not love. I found this company on Craigslist and loved their style. I called Megan and she came over to my house and helped me select furniture to work with my house and family. I feel like I got a great deal for an entire house of furniture. I know I got a great deal and would recommend this company to any of my friends. My house looks great!

I have purchased a table and chairs from Megan's Mansions and was very satisfied. In fact, the slip chairs I purchased were cheaper from Meghans than the distributor's website. I found them to be pleasant to work with and had no issues. I learned about them through my boyfriend who purchased a huge dining table with chairs and a leather sectional with lounge chair. It seems like very nice quality leather. I found Megan's Mansions to be a great find. If I ever re-decorate I will buy from her again.

Thankfully I read this blog on my way to check out a sectional at a staged home that Meghan is renting on PCH in Huntington across from the dog beach. Amazing how they turn you on to the comfort, quality, and thickness of the leather. Quick to the draw saying "We will take a deposit now and the rest when we deliver." I requested to take the sectional on display as I brought my truck. THEY ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF SELLING OFF THE ITEMS FROM A STAGED HOME right? WRONG!!! Quickly she replied "Sorry, this one isn't for sale. I wouldn't give you a used item!" I will deliever a brand new beautiful sectional to your home in a few days." - thanks for WARNING people. I walked away very happy knowing their "bait and switch" get me. BTW - I feel very sorry for the people who are selling their beautiful home at 2212 Pacific Coast Highway Huntington Beach, CA 92648 with Team First Realtors - the glass is filthy, the railing leading up the stairs is falling off and when I asked Linda, Meghan's mom, what the price on the house was she replied "2.3 and it's not even new!" - too bad she isn't helping to sell the house - looks like she wants to hold onto the house for a long time to keep selling their furniture! I can't stand people who are dishonest and shady - that's why I took the time to post this.

We have purchased 6 pieces of furniture from Meghan in 4 separate purchases. All items were quality and in perfectly good shape, transactions were flawless, and Meghan was nothing but professional. In fact, I wanted to purchase a particular item, and Meghan didn't want to sell it to me since she said it was scratched or damaged when it was moved out of a staged home. Pretty honest and professional experience for me.

I bought a couch from a house that Meghan staged and she sold me the exact sectional in the house. She delivered it and I know I got a good deal. I would highly recommend them (and have) to anyone. If I had to stage a house, I also would use them, she has great taste!

Thank goodness I went with my "gut" and didn't listen to the negative comments on this site. Everything about dealing with Megan and Linda was 100% positive. We received the exact same sofa that is displayed in the house. The entire transaction was handled in a professional and positive manner. I am probaby going to order a bedroom set from them in the next few weeks. I highly recommend them and am suspect of the negative comments - competitors perhaps?

THIS REVIEW IS NOT TRUE! YOU DO NOT PAY UPFRONT - YOU PLACE A DEPOSIT AND PAY THE BALANCE UPON DELIVERY - WHICH GIVES YOU AMPLE TIME TO LOOK OVER THE MERCHANDISE PRIOR TO ACCEPTING IT. MEGAN AND LINDA ARE HONORABLE, PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PEOPLE.

I bought several furniture items through Meghan's mansions and was happy with the quality amd price of the products, however there were a couple of missing items that were supposedly "ordered" but it has been almost 6 months and I still haven't received them. Meghan promised to ship it several times, but I have yet to receive them. Of course I already paid for them along with my other items and I am trying to get a refund. Now I can't get a hold of her and she does not return my calls. Her mom Linda is very nice and I did call her to ask her help with this situation, but now her phone is being forwarded to Meghan. I am not a competitor, just a customer who either wants the items I paid for or a refund. Beware!!!
