In a nutshell, Natuzzi refuses to repair (or replace) a defect in my leather sectional that has caused heavy flaking of the color on two of the cushions. An authorized repair tech tried three times to remedy the situation prior to the warranty expiring and now they will do nothing. The retailer is out of business now so I'm left with a $3,000 piece of garbage in my great room. Amazing for a company that has made its name in leather. Want to know more? Please feel free to e-mail me at djsundt54@sbcglobal.net

I agree - Natuzzi is an INFERIOR PRODUCT - be fore warned and do not spend your hard earned dollars on it. Neither Sears nor Natuzzi would stand behind their product over 1 year. The company says - and I quote "natuzzi is a good product but Sears sells an inferior product at an inflated price. Natuzzi would not help either and said "it sounds like you got a lemon!"
Do NOT buy Natuzzi.

Natuzzi is an INFERIOR product - after two years it is faded cracked and looks ready for the garbage. In a beautiful room it is ugly.
Sears will not stand behind the product after one year and Natuzzi says "it sounds like you got a lemon". They did offer that Sears sells an inferior product at inflated prices - for $4000.00 I would agree. NEVER buy Natuzzi

HI All,
I just came on to see if I could get Natuzzi at a lower price than I see at a local store. This local store is definitely not a "Sears" type store where a lot of their stuff is off-brand-brands. I'd be really surprised if this furn store sold anything that Sears sold - it's pretty high end. Could there be more than one 'Natuzzi'- does it make a 'seconds' line or something?

Be warned!! Please do yourself a favour to avoid disappointment and take the advice of the others who have commented. DO NOT BUY NATUZZI. I also thought Natuzzi was a 'high-end' line and purchased a leather recliner from Sears. 13 months later, the frame was cracked and Sears had it repaired for me. Then we bought a leather reclining loveseat from Costco and with only 10 months of use (it was in storage for the first 7 months after purchasing), it is now splitting in the middle. I'm not sure if it is the frame or the mechanism. Costco will not take it back because of the time frame gone by (17 months). They suggested I contact Natuzzi for a resolution. I am not having much luck with that! I will never buy Natuzzi again.

Natuzzi is a disappointment! My first Natuzzi couch was great, but too small. We bought a beautiful sectional Natuzzi couch expecting the same quality. Less than a year later and the leather is cracking and the cushions have sunk so much that it's like sitting in a hole! Would not recommend this brand.

I talked to the sales person at Sears. She was up front - she said the Natuzzi (Editions) that Sears sells is made in China, but still uses top grain leather. She said it is not the same quality as the real Natuzzi, but that that's why it is less than half the cost, and is still a good product. And of course we could buy the extended warranty....

Well I guess I won't be buying natuzzi! Thanks for the heads up. I'm doing my homework this time. DO NOT buy LANE. Same horror stories. I bought the theatre recliners with middle console. All leather paid almost 2,000 for set. The cushions are mashing down to the wood? Hard surface. Hard to push leg rest down. I contacted lane after 1.5 yrs of owning they wanted 350 for each repair. 700 I'm almost buying the chair all over again!!!! I complained to jc pennies where I bought it. No you have no resolution.! This is not the old days he told me. Pennys doesn't stand behind what they sell. I told him I will never buy furniture from penneys.

I have bought a Natuzzi sofa in Jan 2010 that was apparently manufactured in China. It is a beautiful 4 seater black modern leather sofa. From day one I noticed the center to be soft and nothing like the display. Now 6 months later I cannot sit on it due to the center sagging. There is no where to sit on it and be comfortable with feeling your body tilting or dipping. I am contacting the retail store to rectify the matter but I can feel a serious battle ahead in trying to get this matter resolved. It is absolutely unbelievable. Years ago when I bought Natuzzi it was made in Italy, but no longer. Today I've discovered countless complaints online. I hope they will replace this sofa but who knows. Be careful and thoughtufl when buying your sofa, thats all I have to say!

DONT BUY NATUZZI!!
I just had the same thing happen, only mine was from Macy's. I've had the leather recliner for less than a year and the color on the back is flaking off bad. The arms and foot rest are like new. I think the back had bad leather processing. This is the second chair in a row this has happened. What did I hear from Natuzzi?
"Natuzzi warranties for defects that could have been made during the manufacturing process. After a complete review we understand that the body oil on the furniture would not be a manufacturing defect. Because this would not be considered a manufacturers defect this would not be covered under warranty.
At this time there is nothing further we can do via your request.
Sincerely,
Natuzzi Group Customer Service"

It really does corporations more harm than good when they dilute their brand by having manufacturing done in facilities with such widely varying standards. If Natuzzi wants to maintain a reputation for top quality furnishings it's a really bad move to have furniture with such a disparity in quality showing up under the same name in stores.

How many people who want to buy good leather furniture would read reviews like those above and simply decide not to buy either the knockoffs sold in Sears or the higher quality items direct from Natuzzi? It seems like this company would be better off leaving the cheap stuff to a manufacturer that doesn't have a reputation to lose.

I too got suckered by Sears and Natuzzi! They(Sears) blame the oils or the lotions in our hands for why the colour is coming off of our leather furniture of not even a year old....... they have an answer for anything and everything once they have their money. They send out this so called Medic who also wears leather and should know better (SHAME ON HIM) and blames us for the Zebra look we are now getting. We went to a leather specialist and he told us not to buy into that theory.... I have seen 40 50 60 year old bibles and saddles that have not lost their color...but yet Sears insists that their so called MEDIC blames us. Let's band together and fight for our hard earned money...while Natuzzi and Sears have staff parties and tinkle glasses and wrap themselves in such dishonour. The time for them to honour themselves will soon come to an end. Remember Eatons.....one day we will say HEY WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SEARS?????? Dishonour one customer and this will lead to dishonour of many more.

I've had two natuzzi loveseats. One was 3K and other 2K. One dark brown, and the other light mellow yellow. They both are amazing! The leather is as good as my Porsche.
I think you're all fat to be breaking frames.

I have owned a Natuzzi love seat and sofa for ten years and they have held up wonderfully. After reading these comments, I am wondering if the quality is just plummeting or if you just have to shop around for the real "quality" Natuzzi. I am looking to get a Natuzzi recliner for our basement but now am wondering if that is a good choice. I thought I could rely on the the name from my past experience.
