Facing a protest from housing advocates, Pasadena-based OneWest Bank cq announced Tuesday it would take an advantage of a federal program and offer modified mortgages to some loan holders.

I've filled out my modification packet sent it in. I recieved a letter from my mortage company telling me to sell my home ,after I was told on the phone that I qualify for at lease two of their programs. THANKS A LOT!!!!

Forget dealing with your own bank, they don't care. Refi somewhere else. Good Luck.

i am very concerned because Acorn started helping me negotiate my mortgage with my lender, They started the process in March and We are finally getting some reponse from my lender. It may still take some time, to get help. What do i do if this process is stopped now??? It has been very difficult for me to make my mortgage payments, but i keep making them with the hope of getting my interest rate reduced so that i can stay in my home.

I am having the hardest time with Litton Loan Servcing everybody even laywer has been warning me about this mortgage company. Help! they modified my loan and asked me to pay an additional three hundred dollars plus my taxes and insurance. This will make me owning six to seven hundered dollars more.

I have a mortgage with Litton Loan Servcing they have modified my mortgage and increased it by seven hundred dollars. Even the laywer I called before presenting my paperwork advise me that this company is one of the most notorious in the business.
