Not all people are trying to scam you!! I was referred to a Kaplan Legal Service by a close friend and they got my loan modification complete in 45 days. I was 2 years behind and had a crazy high interest rate, my payments were cut in half and they forgave the 20,000 that I was behind!!
So do not just assume the worst about everyone!

In December of 2011 a team of directors who are also ex-bank employees, created a non-profit organization called.
The homeownerÂ’s assistance foundation of America, Inc.
After seeing management ignore all the issues that lied with how these reviews were being mishandled.
We took it upon ourselves to assist and educate the mortgage holders of America.
As an established non profit we offer homeowners assistance at no upfront cost and will get you through this process and approved for a loan modification in about 60-90 days or less. By using the knowledge that we have as ex-bank employees to help get you through this process successfully.
