The Missouri side of the river is more dangerous than the east side. There's maybe three or four towns that you cant walk around at night on the east side. But there's twenty municipalites on the other side of the mighty missisip where you cant walk at night if your a caucasian and even if your black you might not make it back. I can walk around my town at four in the morning and make it home safely. I can sleep in my front yard and I will awake to greet another day.

When will society learn - YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID & YOU CAN'T HELP THE POOR it just won't happen I don't care HOW-WHEN-OR WHAT you do it just won't work. Most of the people being affected by this DEPRESSION and going DOWN HILL brought it on themselves by NOT -LISTENING -READING -PAYING ATTENTION of what was comeing. Over spending , liveing above there means ,not saveing for a rainey day ,playing big shot , & not preparing in general for real life issues.

Funny, I do not see at all what this article has to do with race. is everything race related? I think this has way more to do with the economy than race.

If you would just make a house payment instead of buying ripple all the time you would not have to sleep in the front yard

Is it really true that this couple wouldn't be able to live in a nice house without charity? I don't understand the part about needing a job just to get a nice house. What is the world coming to?

Why doesn't everyone get together and buy me a house to park my fat azz in? Wouldn't that be great everyone just decide to say fck work the guberment will take care of my azz! Don't need no job! Seems like a simple solution to me if you lose you're job go get another one.....If you have to take a job for less money cut back or work two jobs until things get better or you make adjustments.........been there done that!
