What an inspiring story! I don't know this firefighter personally, but I am thankful for all our Emergency Personnel, whether firefighter, police, or medical.
Above all, isn't it wonderful to see there is still people like Ms. Davis in the world who goes that extra mile to help those who desperately need the help.
Thank you Ms. Patricia Davis and God Bless You along with Firefighter John Young and his wife.

This is just awesome. Those men go out of their way to do what it takes to save someones life. It's amazing. They work for the city, county, state and do not even get paid what they really should. But yet they risk their lives! Every time their at work. 24 hours on and 48 hours off!

They also take home with them in their minds everytime they see a person hurt or even death. They deal with alot of emotional things people do not even realize of give most of them credit for!

I am John Young's son. There is so much more to this. What few people know is that Bonnie has been LYING about what is going on with my father. I have confronted her and she won't clear up what she has told me. One day she told me a conversation she had with one of my father's doctors in which she said the doctor told her my dad had less than a year to live, that was back in 2010. I spoke with the doctor in question the next day and he said the conversation never happened and that my father, except his brain damage, was in perfect health and could live to be 100 years old, with brain damage. So Bonnie invented the whole conversation and I WANT TO KNOW WHY SHE HAS LIED. Also, all this money and their house story is total Bull Crap, after she made her plea to the public for money, she shipped my dad to a nursing home and the nurses talk. Some of his nurses say that he could be fine living at home. Bonnie even once told me shortly before his transition to the nursing home that in terms of his illness and their marriage, " I did not sigh on for this". So now hes in a nursing home and she never takes him anywhere. I live 300 miles away and I make it down every couple of weeks and I take him to the park, or my moms or whatever and he does fine. I feel that she is up to no good and knows more about this than she is saying.

If you want to know what has happened from my point of view, try and contact me personally. The best way I can recommend is to leave an e-mail in the comment section and I will get back to you. There is so much more to all of this and it seems like I, his son, am the only person on the face of the earth that cares about the truth. I don't want to post anything here in detail as I really don't want to end back up in court.
BTW, whoever ignorantly judged my prior comment as "nuts" should really be ashamed of themselves. You have no idea what I have gone through in all of this. I have only told the truth about my experience. Really, what interest do I have in lying? My father's life has been destroyed. I only want the truth. I have a MS degree, I teach college-level engineering, I have a wonderful marriage, I try and help people as much as I can, I love my father, and I love the Lord. Why have so many people involved in this situation turned against me? It's not like I was caught red-handed by the nursing home staff putting pills in his mouth.

Seriously, I find it atrocious that neither anyone in the community nor my family have stepped up to demand answers, especially given the circumstances.

Next time I see him I will give him your regards.

So, beyond your inspiration, what do you think about what I, his son, has to say about it?
