Do you work for this awful company? Why are you defending them when you don't know the specifics? I spoke with Jim Miller the head service guy and Kennedy is not performing any service work except for emergency service. The subs may be responsible for completing the work but Kennedy is responsible for the warranty. |

You make excuses for builders. |
Ok, thanks. |
Just a little info for everyone. My house is 1 of 16 that has a lien against it because Kennedy has not paid a contractor. I'm sure this is not the only contractor waiting to be paid by Kennedy.

ive been in the trades for a long time and there are some people that you cant make happy even if you built them a whole new house.its like a new car dealer they have 1 out of every 100 that they just cant make happy.folks these are your 1 out of 100.ive seen it every where.cambridge homes, ryland homes, pulte,dr hoton, deer pointe, kennedy, etc they all have this 1 out of every 100 customers that will be unhappy no matter what you do to try to make them happy.i remember one in a deer pointe sub division this lady had tradesmen in her home at a rate of 3 per day for like 10 days in a row with problems like the ends on the aluminum siding channel are to sharp.the topper for this lady was when the put her sod in she removed it all and put it in a empty lot across the street and wanted it redone because she said it was to lumpy.these builders see this crap all the time.and for anyone that wants to dis union trade work please when you see these guys on the job go tell them what bad work they do and they will take care of the problem!

I've lived in a Kennedy home for 15 months without any problems. New 2860 SF home + basement + upgrades for $232K. Damn good value in my opinion.
This lawsuit seems ridiculous on the surface. They were lent too much money? Didn't their accountants and lawyers understand the details of the transactions? They didn't realize how much money they actually received and would be required to pay back? If there were accounting errors Kennedy's accountants should have identified them. Fraud? If anything the lenders defrauded themselves by risking more money that may never be repaid. |
Ok scott, so I can tell you're a Union man and all just by the way you write. Anyone who cannot capitalize their own name or use capital letters at the beginning of sentences doesn't deserve to be here arguing on behalf of a half baked builder. I will agree with you that there are some customers you can never satisfy. I have been in business for nearly 30 years and know exactly what you mean, but for some strange reason, there is a large concentration of these people who remarkably ALL BOUGHT KENNEDY HOMES! By the way, I did it in all caps to yell, knowing it wasn't gramatically correct. |

Hey Westmont, go tell the union men that they build crapy homes, YOU WILL BE PICKING YOUR ASS UP OFF THE GROUND. you must be a half baked business man!
Dear Ken, Where in the hell did you get that? I read back over my comments and never said anything like that. Kennedy can use the most skilled craftsman in the world to build their homes, but with leaky drafty windows, poor quality building materials, improper insulation techniques and a non-existent customer service department for warranty work, you still have a piece of shit in the end. |
I'll tell them they did a crapy job on my house. If the truth hurts maybe you should find a new job. Maybe something you are good at. If you think union labor equals quality work come to my house and I'll show you different. Not all union workers perform the same. It's like anything else there are both good and bad union workers. |
Very poor homebuilder

Dear Westmont
Sorry for what I had said, and I do agree their are good and bad union workers...but as far as Kenndy I do know the carpenter/contractor that frames the houses and also the int, trim...the work they do is very good....Sooooo Ruth do you live in a Kenndy home?.....what do know about home building!! |

You union boys and girls better wake up, the world is changing and your gestapo attitude about how things get done is what has lead us down the evil path we have today. For Christ sake jobs are leaving this country left and right because labor costs have risen so high. But half of the Union "BROTHERS" all are doing side jobs after hours for cash. Good way to eat away at your ideals dumbasses. And I would tell them that to their face, they need a wake up call!

How did this get to be a union issue?I am in a union , have a college degree and dont care if i use the right punctuation or caps. talking to you people.I have probably been in your homes working on them!Tradesmen get paid to do what their boss wants them to do.The boss gets paid to do what the builder wants.
