DEP denies permit for controversial Clay wetlands bank
After a nearly five-year battle, the Department of Environmental Protection has denied a permit sought for a "mitigation bank" in Clay County.

Its good to see the 1% lose in an outright boondoggle for a change and the Carlysle Group is the 1%. Remember that James Baker led the W. Bush mock legal battle in Florida in collusion with Jeb who followed GOP orders to the letter. He thought they would cash in on the wetlands bank only their land is not wetlands. They almost pulled it off.
Unfortunately its probably not over yet. The deepest pockets around is the Carlysle Group.
