There apper to be about 5 or 10 people on the planet that are master of all chains.

In reality, the collective mind is in control of even these people.

I ask that non G8 members not attend the G8 summit, instead attend the G20 summit.

Better for all parties concerned.

I don't understand the statistics...and I'm a quant analyst hehe...
anyway, regarding banks..they are unsinkable as Lopez states because of China's ability to provide funds in the form of cashing out foreign reserves (held in form of US bonds). They are more at risk due to NPL (non performing loans), but those high risk loans have been "written" off by way of transferring it to policy banks (that was the story of the late 1990s). As for the current credit risk that banks are facing in the west- CDOs and other collateral debt securities, China does not have that exposure (or at very minimal exposure).

The penguins want to try you for crimes as preceived by them and books written by their gods....

You should take the whole thing very lightly.

All worldwide of bankers will go through lean times, bad times and good times; it all depend on global/local financial and economic cycles.
Not inevitable sudden collapse, but slow deaf of some China's banks; just like some of the world bankers! Some will closed because of poor/lack of experience management, bad corporate governance, bad underwriting and bad risk management , bad marketing, corruption, financial malfeasance... History will repeat itself not just for Americas Banks but Chinese and banks of other countries.

We have yet seen any Chinese bank collapsing yet. The Construction Bank in China is opening a branch in NY. If there is any Chinese bank collapse, it will be because of loans given in NY.

That is just part of the story, they will not tell you everything, what about smaller to Medium-sixe banks, some corrupted state run banks...! But, again time will tell, as all depend on global economic and financial cycles. The China's banking and financial system is still not upto par with Western bankings operational standard , that is somewhat well developed. But in time China's bank will model after Western banking sytems operational standards with improvements of its own! Till then Caveat Emptor!
