Ricky, hows sword swallowing act going, I hear you deserve an emmy. |

I was at that gas station when the accident happened. The police officer was not hot on his tail. He was still trying to catch up. Anyone that would blame the police office is just not thinking. Look, this dirtbag from RIVERHEAD would have eventually killed someone in his travels. It is just the nature of the life he leads. If you think knocking a police officer down and taking off is ok and should be over looked, you are a moron.

Yup, or they've been arrested themselves, or thier baby's daddy has. |
I saw officer Bogliole trying to arrest Licausi. The man was huge and he was high! Had the officer been slightly agressive in arresting Licausi, you would have been marching through the streets of farmingville screaming police brutality! Officer Bogliole did nothing wrong! It was the perp that was in the wrong! |

How about refocusing on the fact that 3 children are now without their father. Scott was a great dad who loved his family and enjoyed life to the fullest. So, instead of making dumb comments to each other why not reflect more on the loss and the fact that you never know what tomorrow is going to bring.

"He wasn't really following him," Sixth Squad Det. Sgt. Frank Stewart said. "He was trying to catch up to him." What's the difference.

I ran from mike when i was a kid , it was over a petty violation. when things got unsafe on my end he turned around and ended it, after all he knew who i was and paid me a visit later. Only a fool would blame the cop on this one, the guy was only doing his job. Blame the so called victim and druggie since the victim already purchased stolen goods at one point and did not like having his goods stolen. And the druggie of course who did'nt want anything getting in the way of his next blast off the crackpipe. |

This sucker criminal got what he deserved for running from the police

Bingo. That's exactly what I thought when I read the article. His poor wife is about to experience the worst mother's day of her life. My heart breaks for the family. |

Maybe because Officer Bogliole was conducting his preliminary investigation in where the suspect was not under arrest at that point. You just can't slap the cuffs on someone without first reviewing the facts, chances are without any proven stolen goods on the suspect and just by accusation of the so called victim no arrest would be made at that point anyway and this fool ran for no reason. |

What a horrible tragedy. My condolences go out to the family of the innocent victim.
It's hard to blame the individual cop. I'm sure he feels terrible about what happened. I blame the sleazebag from Riverhead. He should die a painful death in prison. Hopefully he gets a nice buttsandwich while waiting for his death. The system and the arrogance of SCPD is what needs to be changed. I'm so tired of hearing there excuses for what they do. The chase, while brief, did occur. Trying to catch up to the suspect, with lights and sirens going, is a chase. Would the guy have driven a little less careless if he didn't see the lights and sirens? Who's to know, but it sure was possible. The officer must have known he wasn't carrying a weapon, since he had him in his car prior. That's a dangerous road to be chasing anyone on. I believe its one lane in each direction. Where are the innocent bystanders to go? I recall during the time that peopel were being accosted by fake police pulling people over in unmarked cars...the police claimed that they weren't using unmarked cars on the LIE. That was a bold-faced lie. They were using them before and are still using them. I'm sorry, there's no need for unmarked cars to be on the LIE. If you catch someone speeding, you can easily do it in a marked vehicle. The problem is they have absolutely no conception about how the public fears being pulled over and harmed by a fake cop. Either that, or they just don't care. |
