Most of the mortgages were sold through the bankruptcy court. You can call the Federal Trade commission for information regarding your mortgage. Keep a log of your phone calls, the numbers you called, the names of the people you spoke with and their extensions. I am reseasrching the possibility of filing Federal Criminal charges as they were a preidator lender, and their Servicing company is operating outside the law.

Just found out yesterday that AMH froeclosedon a loan they bought form Citi on 2-12-09. We were in the modification process with Citi when they sold my loan to AMH-only contact we rcvd from AMH was a new modification agreement. We had to pay them $2200.00 by 3-27-09 and we were told new pymnt would start on 4-1-09. When we called to get a stmnt of where to send the 1st pymnt, we were told that that modification was denied and the home has been in foreclosure for a while. They took my $$$ never notified me they took over the loan. Now they want over $30,000.00 is foreclosure fees to save my home. Never rcvd ANYTHING stating foreclosure was started and now for every month the home stays in foreclosure they add on another $4000.00. We were only 1 month behind when this all started and now will be homeless with 2 young sons if we can't get help from anyone. If anyone can recommend where to turn -please let me know--I am desparate to save my home and AMH in UNWILLING to work iwth us at all---they vought a loan knowing that their ONLY intention was to foreclose on the property not to help me save it. How do these people sleep at night knowing they are destroying families
I am sure curious as to how this is working out for you, sincewrely. If you have read my grievances you should know I may have a very serious possible wrongful death action to file against AHMSI for pretty much what you try to describe. geezerkatz@yahoo.com

I cannot work with AHMSI and it not due to the lack of trying. These people are vultures, they have my home on the auction block and I fear I may lose it. I have tried every way possible to work with them, to no avail. Every time I call, I get someone that barely speaks English and each time I call I get different answers and figures. What more can we do? If anyone can help please let me know how!

Man these people are the scum of the Earth. I will stand witness for anyone here. Just an update on my situation. I lost all my equity in a loan mod deal last July (08) that saved my house from foreclosure. Two weeks ago I was turned down for a loan because my credit report showed "foreclosure initiated" and did not report the last 10 payments. They purposely damaged my credit after eating up my equity to keep me from being able to refinance. They were trying to deliberately hold me hostage with no out of the deal now my payment is going up as a result of this "deal"

American Home Mortgage put my house up for auction and gave me a two week notice. They would not modify my loan or even talk with me on the phone. House went into auction April 22, 2009. AHM is disgusting.
I actually got it out of forclosure and with a real estate agent who was able to short sale it.
The worst part of all of this is that AHM settled for a price of 144,900. I purchased my home for 295,000 and they gave the buyer 5,100 for closing costs and incentives. They wouldn't work with me to modify and help me stay in my home.
It burns me that they would rather sell my house for 50% less and help the new buyer.

Right now I also am either in. or not in foreclosure based on which rep I talk to, actually was told that my loan mod is being reviewed and that they put a hold on the foreclosure for the time being, and yes they tacked on 4000 dollars for legal fees, right now I have my faith in God and my faith in doing the right thing. I have been lucky enough to find a rep who appears to be doing all the right things, in light of all the negative press AHMSI has recieved I am gonna play it by ear and pray my 93 year old mom does not lose here condo, I will keep all posted

These people have driven us nuts for 2 years now! We were transferred to them from Option One.

This time, I am trying to find out why they have not cashed our check for escrow due, which they suddenly came up with and added to our payment. I sent them a check over 2 weeks ago, since they told me to have it there by July 1st. It has not been cashed, no response from them from any of my messages. I just got another bill with the added escrow. In 2008 they overcharged us over $1,000 for mortgage insurance. Iím trying to recoup this through taxes filed.
I have tried 3 different e-mail accounts to send them messages and all came back as undeliverable, address unknown. I always get the people in India, who are rude and obnoxious, and they never follow up with what they tell me they will do. They also refuse to give me an American, English speaking person, and they wonít give me any other phone numbers or names for contact.

The phone number in Irving TX. Now has a voice mail that states it is a non working extension, although it still lets you leave a message, it directs you to call their 877 number. I have not found one good comment on them on the internet.

I will try them again tomorrow,(Monday) since they are out on the weekends. This company needs to be brought down, they are nothing but crooks. I do not know who to contact about this problem. We live in Colorado, and the fees that they charge to pay bills on their website are also illegal according to state laws. I you have any information on them that I can use, please let me know.

I am going on to the BBB, but I doubt they will be of much help.

American Home Mortgage refuses to talk to me. I want to pay my mortgage but I can't without modification or restructuring the loan. They are forcing me to walk away.
Carlos, I have tried everything with AHMSI. Even when I got a modification with them the told me not to make the payment because they where updating their systems. I called back for three months and when they finally updated their systems they wanted to hit me up for three month worth of payments and late fees as well. They induced another foreclosure. Out of desperation I did a repayment plan but the payments where too high. Now I am facing another foreclosure situation. When I requested copies of the transcripts via a qualified written response they refused and even when so far as to say the conversation never took place. my email is lrivera@iqcreditsolutions.com if you know oa any class action law suites taking place.

Why are they not on Homeland Securities most wanted domestic terrorist list. Scumbag pirates. If I lose my house of 23 years because of thier escrow mistakes, you will read about me in the paper, for what I have in mind for em. Thanks option One for selling my mortgage to these criminals. It did'nt take long to screw my escrow account up, now all they want to do is foreclose, and not fix it. WHORES!

Hi
Have you had any success with AHMSI??
I am trying to get enough people together so I can present not just one complaint, but many at one time. If we fight them alone we will get no where. Please email me your story at ahmcriminal@cox.net. I will add it to the others. when I have enough, I will present them to the Department of Justice, The White House, and Congress, for action. This company is criminal, and they need to be shut daow, and the owners and executives charged as the criminals they are.
Sincerely
Richard W. Horvath

Hi
I am trying to get criminal charges placed against the owners, and corporate executives of this horrid company. It needs to be shut down!!!
Please email me your story to ahmcriminal@cox.net.
When I have enough emails, I will be presenting them all together(strength in numbers) to various government agencies, as well as the United States Congress, and the White House. If you go it alone, you will get nowhere. Join us and we will get results.

I have read some of the postings here and they are very important, but I need you to email me more information.
It appears AHMSI is illegally witholding peoples funds. This is know as conversion, and it is illegal. Also, it appears they ae doing the same thing to everyone, and that is demanding payment of money not owed them before they take any action. This is known as extortion, and it is a Fedreral Crime. Their collection activities have been constructed to cause the maximum amount of stress they can. Not returning calls, refusing to make corrections to your account etc. This is also a criminal action, and the best way to prove it is everyone email me at ahmcriminal@cox.net and let me know what they did to you. I'm sure they are guilty of extortion a hundred times over, and they can be charged with 100 counts or more depending on the responses I receive.
Do not let them get away with their vile actions!!!!! If you don't participate, you are letting them win. Just a short email to me will go a long way, so do it now!!
