When Cuba becomes a Democracy, with valid elections, denounces Castro, and his borther, then maybe, we can take them off the terrorist list. Not until then.

What about all the republican love for the terror group MEK? Listed as a terror group that has killed americans yet that doesnt stop many on the right from singing their praises and speaking at their fund raiseiers, and advocating for them to be removed from the terrorist list.

Only brought it up since it seems like a few people here think only liberals like to love up to american killing terrorists.

Cuba supports Iran, North Korea and other groups.

China and Russia support Cuba.

To America, Iran is never going to be trustable as things are.

North Korea has moved from untrustable, unstable to totally unbelievable.

Russia and China still never favor our side in any of the current disputes. They carefully word everything to sound as vague as a politician in a public speech.

It was and is Cuba's choice to open the doors to us. They chose to close it and I haven't seen anything that has happened to change the reasons they close that door.

I'd be all for it if China, Russa and USA finally unite. But unfortunately even if 1000's of meteors crash to earth, each country will mostly be thinking of themselves. Better luck for next generation I hope.

Wrong because it is S.Korea who does not want an escalation and they have done all they can even telling USA to stand down even when Bush was in power.

N.Korea has nothing to loose but S.Korea has everything to looose and as crude as most of N.Koreas missles are, they can still hit Seoul, Yes some will be stopped but not all as Seoul is so close and the missles will fly low.

The South could have buried the North by now if nothing else with all the missles stored at U.S. Osan Air Base but they do not want to engage because they will win the" war" but suffer, while N.kora doesn't seem to care.

Than we have China who we ,whether Dem President or Rep rather not get in a potential spat with.

All it takes is one crude nuke , dirty war head to hit Seoul and it is like a nuke hitting the main financial artery .

Very easy to be an armchair general like draft dodging Rush Limbaugh and say "We need to do this or that" but the South does not want to risk it.

I do think that we are waiting to long when it comes to Iran as they do not have that ability yet , nor do they have China as an ally but soon they will have it and than to late.

It's certainly not comparing like with like: North Korea is a small, impoverished and isolated country; South Korea is wealthy and backed by the world's number one superpower.

Hmmm yet the USA courtesy of the Miami right wing Cubans harbored Orlando Bosch and Posada Carriles.

Talk about being hypocrites and double standards like this this are why we have no credibility in much of the world
