I purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion With a 1.5 ecoboost 4 cyl!

I am here to tell all that this is the LAST Ford I will ever purchase!
1.5 ecoboost 4cyl 24.8 to 26mpg...no thank you my 1990 accord gets 28 to 34 mpg. FORD says it must be the winter mix of gas being the poor mpg GEE my 1990 Accord uses the same winter mix! maybe there is something wrong with my accord?
But at least FORD takes care of the problem: FORD'S FIX FOR THE PROBLEM IS TO SAY "We Are Sorry For Your Problem"
GEE, THANKS FORD!
LAST FORD I WILL BUY!!!

Update...Update...Update! Ford Motor Company "now" tells me to be sure to have proper air pressure in my tires, correct oil in the engine and that higher electrical loads in winter all affect my fuel mileage!
GEE FORD Some how you must have missed the fact that you @ Ford put the air in my tires, the oil in my engine etc. You @ Ford also continue to insult your customers even after you understand that the other car I own "a 1990 Honda Accord " with 200000 miles, air in my tires, oil in the engine, higher electrical loads in the winter, winter mix of fuel etc.and still much better mpg then that 2014 1.5 ecoboost Ford Fusion and the 2014 Ford still can not come close to the mileage it should be getting even as to your own predictions. I would love to show the car buying public the stupid reply from Ford Motor Company as to the very poor mpg.
Seems Ford thinks everyone was born last night!!!

2014 Dodge full size pick up truck,24.7 mpg,Highway. 2014 Honda Accord 34.4 mpg Highway My 1990 Honda Accord W/ 200,000 miles 33to 34.5 mpg Highway 2013 Toyota 35 mpg Highway I can go on and on but I will add only (my 2014 1.5 ecoboost 4 cyl Ford Fusion 26mpg Highway 24.4 average mpg. All the above automobiles are driven in the winter months, W/winter mix of fuel All the above automobiles except for the 1990 Accord are equipped the same, same electrical load, same (proper) air pressure, oil in engine etc. WHY is it that this 1.5 ecoboost gets such horrid mpg especially when compared with other manufacturers, some of the automobiles ie the Dadge Pick up truck are much larger than my 2014 Ford Fusion again with much better mpg (average or actual)FORD is doing nothing but making excuses such as winter mix, electrical load, properly maintaining the automobile (this is a new automobile) so other than the winter mix of fuel has not a thing to do with the very poor mpg although the above mentioned automobiles all use the same winter mix.I purchased this (what I now call expensive JUNK ) so that I could enjoy reasonable mpg however customer service from Ford Motor Company does nothing to correct this problem but make one excuse after another. Thus far I have let two friends that were thinking about purchasing a Ford Fusion drive my Ford Fusion while checking the average mpg under different circumstances one has just purchased a 2014 Chevrolet the other ordered a 2014 Honda Accord SEEMS they did not think much of the mpg either, I WILL keep on letting the many people I know not just the poor mpg of this 2014 Ford Fusion but the way FORD treats the people AFTER they purchase a Ford!

Other cars that got as good or better mpg than my 2014 1.5 ecoboost 4 cyl Ford Fusion...To be updated as time will permit.
1: 2001 Lincoln Town Car,just over 25mpg highway Yes in the winter with winter mix of fuel! and a 4.6 V8.
2: 2000 Ford Mini van just over 24 mpg highway. Engine was a V6 again winter mix that FORD likes to insert as a reason for the lousy mpg on this lousy 2014 Ford Fusion.
3: My son's 2002 Dodge Mini van 24 mpg
4: A friends 2012 full size Dodge W/ Hemi V8 25 mpg highway
5:1990 Honda Accord 2.0 4 cyl 33 to 34.5 mpg.
MY 2014 FORD FUSION 1.5 ecoboost 4 cyl best mpg "26 mpg highway' but Ford says " WE are sorry, maybe the winter mix of fuel"
BRILLIANT Ford...ALL the above use the same winter mix!!!
In the other avenues I am pursuing I find that other people are not very happy with FORD, especially with their ecoboost wonders!!! and so called customer service (LACK)

I intend to keep posting
my objections to owning a FORD (Ford Fusion) on this site until I am removed However I will be posting the negatives of owning this 2014 1.5 ecoboost 4 cylFord Fusion with such lousy mpg everywhere on the internet as well as many, many other places!
YES, I am disgusted with FORD and the way they treat the people after purchase.I am now looking into any legal way to pursue action!!!

Today is Wednesday January 15,2014 and I filled the gas tank on this gas hog 2014 1.5 4 cyl ecoboost FORD FUSION Piece of JUNK!
In the past I had just been going with the average mile per gallon that shows up on the dash read out which is for the most part 24.4 to 24.5 mpg, however when I filled this GAS HOG FORD FUSION today I decided to figure the ACTUAL gas mileage which is " 22.55 mpg" ACTUAL.
Now tell me (anyone out there) Would you be happy with that actual mpg on your 2014 1.5 ecoboost 4 cyl FORD FUSION? I think not, And how would you feel when Customer Service @ Ford Motor Company
( not the dealership) FORD MOTOR COMPANY tells you that it must be the winter mix of gas and we are sorry for the problem you are having .
ONCE you purchase a new car (in this case new junk) the thing you depend on is that the companies customer service is honest enough to take care of the problems you have ...NOT by saying we are sorry but rectifying the problem "admitting that something is not right !
BUT NOT WHEN THE COMPANY IS FORD MOTOR COMPANY
it is obvious they could care less once you purchase the car!
Purchase a FORD ...GOOD LUCK SUCKER!!! you will need it!
1.5 4 cyl ecoboost 2014 FORD FUSION actual mpg 22.55 and that is not letting the tach go past 3000 rpm through the gears and not letting the rpm exceed 1.5 to 2000 rpm while driving just to prove it is not being hot rodded.....PLEASE IF anyone out there is considering
purchasing a new ford I would allow you to drive mine first,so far two friends that have done so changed their minds after driving mine, one purchased a new CHEVROLET,the other ordered a new HONDA ACCORD! THINK ABOUT IT!!!
REPLY'S WELCOME!

AVERAGE mpg on this 2014 piece of junk Ford Fusion 1.5 ecoboost 4 cyl is 24 to 26 THE actual mileage which is found when you fill the tank and take down the miles from the last fill up and subtract that number from the present miles on the odometer at fill up WHICH .just happen to be 22.3 mpg ( ACTUAL mpg ) my my what great miles per gallon this 2014 piece of junk Ford Fusion gets!!! Cold weather in western New York or warm weather in Central Florida! Oh yes the people that read the sign on the back of this piece of junk 2014 ford fusion seem to enjoy the conversation we strike up about CUSTOMER SERVICE ( LOL ) I am sure to point out to the people that it is NOT the dealership that is the problem it is FORD MOTOR COMPANY lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE.!!!
I LET other people drive this junk FORD or sit in the passenger seat and watch the mpg readout so they understand!!!

BUY A FORD....TAKE IT TO THE JUNKYARD....or back to the dealership...samething!

GREAT NEWS...Ford has ( lower than expected sales)
And it is no wonder...A corporation can not get away with treating the buying public like gold when they are purchasing their products and then when they have problems with the product treat that same buying people like uneducated idiots!!! SEEMS FORD is finding that out now!
Customer Service is of utmost importance AFTER the sale! FORD has yet to understand that! Keep on telling the people that they need to treat their new 2014 FORDS like used cars and be sure they use proper oil, proper tune ups, tire pressure etc. in order to get the expected mpg out of their NEW FORDS, never mind the fact that these are brand new FORDS!!! Perhaps IF and WHEN FORD hires people that understand what customer service means then MAYBE those people that purchased new Fords and will never do so again MAY change their minds about Ford MAYBE!!! Until then people such as me will trade our new Fords in on other makes of automobiles that understand that after the sale CUSTOMER SERVICE is what is expected! You had better learn that fact FOMOCO!!!

Dear Ford Motor Company: Do you think that sometime, someway, someday you will learn what Customer Service means? Or perhaps hire someone to teach your Family business that once the sale is made ...the way to keep the people that purchase your automobiles coming back! IS CUSTOMER SERVICE What a shame, it seems that Ford Motor Company never learns for very long...You figure out how to correct your misgivings only to forget again....You rise above your mistakes only fall back into disorder! Will you ever learn???
May I suggest ( 1 ) Produce a good automobile ( 2 ) Once you sell an automobile train your people to understand the meaning behind the words
CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You recently re-organized,which increased your bottom line. Now perhaps you can re-organize your "Customer Service"people. I recently purchased one of your 2014 Ford Fusions which is almost a nice car HOWEVER because of the LACK of customer service I will never again purchase a new Ford or Ford product!!! WILL YOU PEOPLE AT FORD MOTOR COMPANY EVER LEARN??? It appears NOT!
