I heard Capital One is one of the few credit companies that will not simply write off unpaid debt/bills with in 90-180 days. They will pursue you , sue you and not relent until you can pay in full or come to a settlement. But your unpaid bills won't be written off as quickly as many credit cardt companies do. I hear Discover is the same way.

My guess this makes it easier for a collector acting on behalf of Capital One to pursue you. Although if bad debt/unpaid bills are sold as dead debt they should have to follow the credit card collector rules as most other companies.

Credit Card debt is unsecured debt. I don't see how they aggressively pursue other than sue you. I've seen credit card companies sue people into bankruptcy. They will push non bill payers to the brink.

But again I hear Capital One is a persistent and aggressive collector. My guess is that they have complaints against them for acting as such.

Capital One should be careful not to trespass on other peoples property. Most states it is legal to shoot trespassers. My feelings about Capital One is they really need to change their name to Capital Punishment. Thanks, Rick and yes you can use this if you desire.
