Stock will go up like crazy (all the way to $9.5 as soon as they will hire new CEO and after that to $12 when they will announce improvement in sells.
Anyway, I keep buying at current price (~$7.3) be smart and make money from this opportunity!
Good luck you all :-)
Why do you think JCP makes it? And for everyone one else here that works for JCP, how is foot traffic and sales now in this period between back to school and Black Friday? I know the home dept is still suffering but are they getting worse? Thanks

yeah a thanksgiving blizzard so no black friday, no black friday pay. and no black friday profits.
besides gridlocked communities, falls and deaths from accidents of all types.

are you certain this would be a good thing?

as a former employee I sure hope that the people still working for J.c.p. understand that this very well could be a make it or break it Christmas for J.C.P..I hope the best service and sales happen so that the stock can rebound. The way to make this happen is each and every worker ready and willing to make it happen. When I worked there we had far too many staff members that under cut/ bad mouthing the company only enhancing , if not making RJ'S mistakes worse. It's really time to work or start looking for another job come Jan...

"What a shame. What a shame." Gahlee lady. Stop saying that. Its a shame that a shame a real shame. All your posts mention shame. If u r so ashamed to work at penneys and can't pay ur bills and what not because of cut hours maybe consider changing ur attitude in the positive direction andperhaps u will have hours added or better yet go get yourself a job where u can be happy and not be ashamed.
