LOL! Stop playing the D and R game. It's a failed argument and you lose every time.

The business cycle (economy) is controlled by the Federal Reserve through interest rate manipulation.

There is nothing in our economy that is not rigged through derivative speculation. And there is nothing a Dem or Repub can do about it.

It was both Dems and Repubs that allowed our economy to happen when the banks pushed through the repeal of Glass Steagall and the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

And if you think that either of these "gangs" can do anything, you are delusional. Because the top priority to the parties (gangs) are the parties themselves followed by the financial backing of the parties (gangs).

Get away from the MSM, it will rot your brain and keep you closed in a D versus R box. You are being played like a fiddle.

Just as George Carlin said, "The true owners of this nation do no want free thinking individuals. They want obedient workers. Just smart enough to the work the machines and handle the paperwork."

Try getting out of your trailor and reading some books on economics before giving hair brained opinions.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a Sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies....Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and Grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

It makes you wonder why Obama, who also controls the Senate, allows this to happen. I mean it's been nearly 5 years, he should start saving the working people pretty soon - right?

I heard that, but the fact is, under Obama leadership our national debt has nearly doubled since he took office, the largest increase in history. Bush raised the debt to $10trillion in 8 years. Obama raised it to $17trillion in 4 years.

Maybe, maybe not.

Playing the D vs R game does not work. This is Kabuki Theater.

Where were the D's and R's during the indefinite detention clauses in the NDAA for American citizens (a violation of the constitution). Where were the D's and R's during the NSA spying?

Should the government not been shutdown and those programs defunded? I would think so.

Where was Obama in vetoing these laws?

This shutdown is not really a shutdown. It's all theater to keep people arguing D vs R and the media is playing the people like a fiddle.

Are either D or R losing any pay? Nope.
Are they going to jail for insider trading like the rest of us would? Nope.
Are they still funding programs that back terrorist organizations in Syria? Yep.

Shall we keep going?

GW left $10.6 Trillion, plus two unfunded ongoing, Wars.....estimated at $4-5 Trillion plus continuing care for wounded and disabled Veterans.....These figures were consistantly confirmed during the election.....NO SPIN.....

Its called reality. And its only partial. we live so far above our means it is gruesome. An economy based on private bank based fiat currency printing. Where was that concern with the housing meltdown several years ago? Where was/is that concern with the near zero interest received in bank savings for the last several years? No concern for the tens of millions of people who got screwed over and lost much of their cushion for retiring from that love. All those thing you wrote are precarious in that we have to run our domestic issues and foreign policies with an iron fist to just keep that. And one of things we are losing is our freedoms.

That's the thing. There is no true shutdown. It's all Kabuki Theater to get the people arguing over left versus right. That's it.

If there was a true government shutdown. This would stop:

1. The $85BN/month to the Wall Streets to buy up mortgage backed securities and collateralised debt obligations.
2. The shut down of the 700+ military bases we have worldwide
3. Congress and government employees would not get paid at all. And no back pay.
4. All foreign aide would stop.
5. We would no longer be funding and arming the Al Nusra front in Syria
6. The worldwide drone strikes against innocent people would end because there is no money to operate it.
7. ALL government services would stop. Not just trying to shut down parks while keeping Obama's golf course open.

And we can keep going and going.

However, the money does not stop flowing. This entire thing is a theater.

Look, we the people finally unified. In the past 50 years we finally unified as a society against the military strike in Syria. All over the world, the people unified. The people in England shot down the idea of military action. The people here polled in at 80%+ against military action in Syria. For once the people stood up for something.

And sure as shit, within a freaking month, the media and government start this theater of a "bullshit" government shutdown rhetoric and the people are once again divided.

And it is the people that are to freaking stupid to realize it.

But make sure you get out there and vote. Vote for the same sociopaths that are creating this theater in the first place. The same people that have created a false crisis and have offered solutions to the crisis they created.

For right now......many American's that have recovered much of what was lost in the 2008 recession, and there are MANY.....this is the final kick in the teeth, from the Republican party....more bent on their personal battle with this administration, that what is best for Americans......Millions of Americans will long remember what is being done to them, currently......

If Repubs lose. then they lose. But their voters are tired of RINO/NEO CON after RINO/NEO CON showing up even after they get rid of them. They are tired of election laws that show up to get rid of people elected like the Alaska Senate race where the tea party person won and the next thing you know, the corrupted RINO/NEO CON Murkowski is elected. So what you have now, are many more people aware of their government elected officials. And the sad thing is, the trust is much less. Internally, I believe we are going to reap what we sewed with the false wealth spread to many while taking the wealth from hard working people to pay for it. Part of it is starting to show up with social security/medicare as boomers have had at least half of their savings/wealth stolen from them and this is going to look bad with the elderly the next 30 years or so. Because right now, currently..there is no real growth. And our foreign benefactors are tired of paying for our largesse when they are starting to like what we got and are the producers now.

800,000 federal workers get a paid vacation? The down side is you can't pull over at Mount Rushmore and take a picture.
