Brunswick cites economy in decision to close boat factory

Brunswick Corp. , citing the "prolonged slowdown" that has hit the recreational boat industry, said late Tuesday that it intends to close a 175-worker South Carolina production facility.

Brunswick is a great company and the quality of the boats will be hard to replace.

Yes, I agree. My dad worked 20 years as a BRC manager and they were very good to him. But their quality is sure hard to beat.
