Electoral College prediction: McCain, 281; Obama, 257.
Place your bets early !:) |
McCain didn't sit in those pews and chant "Amen", surely you aren't suggesting a TV time denouncing of any wacky thing any white guy says? We would need a "Denouncing Channel" on cable. Obama had a relationship with Wright, he was his mentor (it's in his book) and advisor |
|
So WHAT if Obama had a relationship with Wright? We live in a secular society where one's religious affiliations OUGHT NOT to be under scrutiny in the first place. In any event, Wright's controversial remarks are just that - controversial. They are not racist - except to those who have *chosen to be offended* for political purposes. Conversely, we can find "conservatives" choosing to not be offended by genuine racism when it suits them. Sean Hannity of FOX-TV has a documented personal friendship with a Neo-Nazi white supremacist. That seems to be quite fine with the media establishment and the anti-Obama folks who watch FOX-TV - including you perhaps?? See how the BS operates? |

US of KKK A isn't a racist comment?? |

Listen! In the USA, we've had ex-Klansmen as: * a U.S. Supreme Court Justice * a U.S. President and * a U.S. Senator True or False? |
You, my friend, are an idiot. You brand a whole nation currently for it's history. Open your eyes, look around. I drink out of the same water fountain a white man drinks out of. It's a new world. embrace it, let the past go, or enjoy your hypertention. I hear blood pressure pills do wicked things to your johnson. Have fun with that. |

No, please stay! We need diversity because of our isolation. |

"True or False?" No U.S. president is known to have belonged to the Klan, but I'm sure a few were in sympathy with the Klan. Ditto Otherwise and unfortunately, true. But in a game of tit for tat the score is evened by the racist and exclusionary Congressional Black Caucus which Obama belongs to. |

Oh my goodness!! Aren't we rattled? Hahaha! Let online bystanders witness this exchange. This is a PERFECT example of what's wrong with race-based dialogue in this country. I ask you a simple 'yes or no' question concerning respected American statesmen and holders of high office and whether or not they once belonged to a racist, terrorist organization. It was really a simple question directly relating to the "US-KKK-A" query you posed to me. And what was your response? You immediately launched a verbal attack, assaulting me as an "idiot." LOL. But I didn't ask for your assessment of my IQ; I'm comfortable that it's a respectable figure. I just asked you a simple question about U.S. history and culture and you completely avoided it, and defensively tossed out an insult. As if that solves anything. Probably because the answer IS and SHOULD BE humiliating for any republic that brays to the world about how "free" it is and how just its society is. Let's now consider your initial question answered: "No, Rev. Wright's sarcastic KKK quip was not racist." |

Bill Clinton Switches to Obama!
In what some Democratic Party insiders are calling a particularly ominous sign for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, former president Bill Clinton today became the latest superdelegate to switch from Sen. Clinton to her rival, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill). Sources close to the former president said that Mr. Clinton had been mulling such a defection for weeks, as early as the night of the Iowa primary, but that he only decided to make his decision public today. “The American people want change,” Mr. Clinton said at a press conference in New York.“Lord knows I do.” The former president said that “sometimes, at the end of a race, you have to put an old horse down,” adding,“I’m not speaking metaphorically.” Mr. Clinton fueled speculation that he was seeking a role in an Obama administration, saying,“I know my way around the Oval Office, and I know how the super-secret double-lock works.” The former president said he would relish a return to the White House, calling his tenure there “good times.” For her part, Sen. Clinton said that the defection of her husband would not deter her from staying in the race, adding,“To my knowledge, he’s the only white voter Sen. Obama has.” The New York senator denied that she was playing the race card, arguing,“Every other member of my family is supporting me, and by the way, they’re white.” Elsewhere, a defiant John McCain said that his wife will not release her tax returns,“and neither will my girlfriend.” http://www.borowitzreport.com / |

Give America some credit. A black man is now a serious challenger for the presidency. Could a white man be elected president today in any African country?
Les Payne is a hypocrite. |
