This is another over reach by the federal government with wasteful spending of our taxes to increase the profits of the utilities with their lobbyists. Forcing citizens of the USA to participate or be charged to protect our freedom of choice is increasing. We can and have monitored our use electricity. The federal, state and local government employees and politicians are those wasting electricity and our other natural resources. November 2014 and 2016 can be the change we need.
