DTE Energy was named Corporation of the Year for the third year in a row by the Michigan Minority Supplier Diversity Council for its work in creating opportunities for minority-owned businesses.

They do OK in delivering the service to the wires and making repairs. They are severely lacking in customer service and billing. When I moved they continued to bill me for the previous address for months. Calls and letters gave me promises and no action. I went to the PSC and immediately received a call from DTE that they would resolve this to my satisfaction, which should have been normal business anyway.

Keep good records of calls, ID numbers and promises.
File an online PSC complaint at the first instance of non-performance.
