Needy can get help paying PG&E bills

For all of you who automatically assume that it's only the illegals who are getting aid...think again. There are good, hard working American citizens who need this help due to hard times or health limits/issues.
I'm one of them! I hate doing this but it's either I ask for help or I get my PGE shut off and so far in my life, I've managed to avoid that. Yes there are some that exploit the system and the illegals here are over-served and accommodated, and they came over because WE hired them. And that's not ok when there are 10 million citizens out of work. I agree that things are imbalanced and those jobs should goto American citizens. But be wary of casting blame without knowing the whole story; remember without the jobs, they wouldn't come. And it's not all liberals who hire them, lots of wealthy conservatives need a gardener and a nanny ;* without question!~
On topic: These socialized programs prevent a huge swath of people falling by the wayside, good people. Without them, there would be millions more homeless begging for food. So again, some points are right about the work situations/immigrants...but your rhetoric is purely emotionally based without fact.
Again if you don't want anything socialized, then be prepared to get rid of social security, unemployment, public libraries, schools and institutions, tax funded police and fire programs and even, the military itself is partially funded by our, the social network's, money. Just saying! There are a lot of things in our system, that are based on socialized approach vs. pure capitalistic; which would leave everyone to their own accord, for better or worse, any circumstance or struggle be damned.
Any good society has fail safes for it's citizens during tough times.

Everyone in California is entitled to this reduction on your PG&G bill. Many don't know this but it due to deregulation. Remember when ATT was the only one who you got phone service from back in the day and deregulation kicked in and broke that all up and prices went down. Well this is the same thing that's going on with the gas now, and you are entitled to that discount off. I signed up for it in March and my reduction started in April and every month so on. It only took me about 3 minutes to do this. So if you are not getting this discount on your bill know you are missing out! Some people are already getting a little discount, but they still sign up and pickup the additional, now that's pretty good. If you have any question and would like to get it let me know. Happy discount for all :-)
