Miss. regulators consider energy efficiency rules

A number of utilities and consumer groups say they support proposed rules that would require Mississippi electric and gas utilities to implement programs to save energy.

It is amazing that this NEWS article appears in the San Francisco newspaper.

What is not amazing is Miss. Power's disagreeing with the concept of "energy efficiency".

Of course, fewer Kw's of power sold makes it harder for them to pay the KEMPER (albatross) bills.
