Kind of makes you mad.

So Cal Edison giving discounts on the electricity? No, in fact their rates are the highest. Then they have substandard service like this.

Likely also run at 59.5 Hz and 100V. They do not tell you this, because you would never know anyway.

Hey, I have to go around resetting all my clocks, my sprinkler timer. If it is hot, I do not have my fans or air conditioner.

The power doesn't go smoothly off and smoothly on. There are voltage transients that can destroy electronic stuff in your house like cheap stuff such as printers, PC's, big screen TVs, sounc systems, etc.

If I am not home, how do I know my sprinkler system came back on OK. I may come home from vacation with my landscaping all dead. Also with my timed 'burglar' lights on in the daytime and off at night.

It is a big hassle.
