The big picture is that T&B made a business decision to purchase a plant for its assets and move it to a location where the cost of living is lower, therefore the wages are lower thus increasing company profits. If unions didn't drive wages and other costs of doing business through the roof, corporations wouldn't do these things. The purpose of a business is to make money....plain and simple. If a corporation is greedy for wanting to make money, aren't the workers just as greedy for wanting to make money, too? And what about the unions wanting to drive costs up every chance they get? Greed. Some people win and some people lose. I recommend the folks in OH pool their money, buy that factory, put in new machinery, and run it themselves since they can do a better job. Then we'll sit back and see how long it takes to implode with greed. Then they will be just like a corporation. Here's an idea...pay the secretaries and janitors the exact same pay as the fitters and plant manager? Doesn't that seem fair? It's not! It's called socialism. The world needs ditch diggers, middle management, and top executives to operate. Get educated if you want to make more money. And tell the union bosses to get real jobs and stop striking every chance they get because they don't get their way. Cry me a freaking river. Don't tell me the unions keep the workers safe and it's not about the greed for higher wages. OSHA laws and other DOL laws keep employees safe. If you don't like a company's benefits...QUIT! Go start your own company! But please stop whining about Mexico getting our jobs when we are the reason why we're losing them. Greed! You people amaze me....stupid people amaze me. You are so wrapped up in your pathetic little lives that you cannot see the big picture.

The company really cares little for they're employees. I have worked at the Hackettstown facility for many years, and I have seen a steady decline on morale due to the way the company treats the workers. Recently the company had announced that they would provide a full day pay for those schedueled to work 8hr shift on a Saturday that ended 2 hours short due to a power failure.( one of "our" switches burned up on the power pole of al things) Then later that was recanted. What frosts me is the way they did it. First our Supervisor told us the"good news". Then later through word of mouth we learned the "bad news". No announcement from HR or an explanation... Just too bad, you don't get the full day. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL! Little wonder morale is at an all time low....
