Expect companies to start layoffs to make up the shortfall and unemployment to go up nationwide. Be sure to thank the lunatic leftists currently in power come November 2010 and 2012!

Chris is exactly right. On top of health care "deform" socialist style "cap and trade" isn't too far down the road. This administration is trying to destroy America. I hope everyone remembers to thank Blanche Lincoln this November, and Mark Pryor in 2014. They have betrayed Arkansas, and the Constitution they swore to protect and defend. Don't throw bricks, vote the bums out.

So good to see that health care reform is saving us so much money.

Its to bad that new health care will cost all americans alot of their freedoms now it will cost them their good jobs with Baldor, John Deere and others. I hope it causes USA Truck in Van Buren to go bankrupt. That is a lousy place to work anyway. IF you wont put up with foul language, sexual harressment, age and sex discrimination, and wage dicrimination then they let u go anyway. Take a look at the employees there! The biggest majority are under 40, male, and foul mouthed. They even want u to say "hell yea" in morning meetings. And many of the bosses in the morning meeting use the F word. The rest are women under 30 with no qualms about being sexually harressed and are in the lower paying roles there. THEY HAVE NO WOMEN IN MANAGEMENT! So good riddence to them!

Really? I heard they just hired a Safety Director who is a woman and is in management. I could be wrong, though.

Well she must not have lasted long then cause they are running an ad in the local paper for a safety director now. By the way the last one was over 50, they are systematically getting rid of anyone over 40! U can bet the next one will be male and 30 ish.

Dan Smith is the safety director at USA Truck. That doesn't sound like a womans name to me. Besides this company has all negative earnings numbers. They have had to slowly finance their operation with debt. This is thanks to the frat boy CEO cliff beckham who thinks he knows how to relate to the spine of the company (the driver)
