Quite the contrary. Read the Bible and then argue with me. It's like I'm talking the theory of relativity to a young child.

I have heard it said...
If you do not believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, if you do not believe that the Bible is of a supernatural origin, then I challenge you to a test. Go to any library in the world, you can choose any library you like, and find 66 books which match the characteristics of the 66 books in the Bible. You must choose 66 books, written by 40 different authors, over 1500 years, in 3 different languages, written on 3 different continents. However, they must share a common storyline, a common theme, and a common message, with no historical errors or contradictions.
Here is a start:

The Letter of Clement I
The DidacheFirst
Apology by Justin Martyr
The Gospel of Thomas
The Gospel of the Hebrews
The Infancy Gospel of Thomas
The Church History of Eusebius
The Life of Adam and Eve
The Book of Enoch
The Book of Jubilees
Proto-Gospel of James
The Gnostic Scriptures of Nag Hammadi
The Gospel of Mary
The Gospel of Nicodemus

You do know what they have in common, don't you?
The Apocalypse of Peter
Gnostic Apocalypse of Peter

Don't forget folks to show back up at Chick-fil-A today to support them! They are planning their antics to start at 8:00 EST. Be there to pack the restaurants and support CFA in their valiant fight! God bless America and God bless Chick-fil-A!

Yeah, because Chick-fil-a needs more of your money to hand over to groups like the "Family Research Council" which promotes the death penalty for gays and lesbians in places like Uganda.

The fact remains that Chick-fil-a does give money to the "Family Research Council" which did in fact lobby the US government to not oppose the Ugandan "kill the gays" bill.

The "Family Research Council" is a group that has been identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a known hate group. They have info on the group at http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelli...

The facts are pretty plain.

P.S. Snopes gives lots of evidence to support the LGBT complaint against Chick-fil-a. Thanks for the link!

Not according to snopes.....

And the SPLC's listing of so-called hate groups is a joke. Being on that list has more to do with disagreeing with the SPLC worldview than anything to do with "hate"

So you read the entire link? Good. Now make sure you reference the entire link in the future, not just cherry-picked sections of it.

Also, by reading the entire link you realize your above statement regarding the FRC is in fact hyperbole. Whether you are willing to admit that is another story.......

Fact: Chick-fil-a gave money (and presumably still gives money to) the "Family Research Council."

Fact: the "Family Research Council" did lobby congress because they didn't like the condemnation of the Ugandan "kill the gays" bill.

The Snopes link includes the "Family Research Council's" backtracking justification for their lobbying against such a universally popular condemnation of human rights abuses with a wishy-washy statement that they just didn't like the wording.

Fact: the "Family Research Council" has been deemed a hate group by a respected authority on that particular subject.

Stop cherry picking and fact the facts!

Any proof to back up these "facts" you state?

Facts generally come with proof.....and absent a statement from the FRC backing your claims, it is far from a "fact."

No, it sounds more like your "opinion" as to why the FRC opposed the bill, kind of like the SPLC's "opinion" as to who is a "hate" group.

Walk up to a muslim and tell them their "book" is full of myths, obvious lies and impossibilties...be glad you're here in the good ol' USA where your stupidity is tolerated.
