Made in Mexico and China. The Chinese crap was manufactured years ago and now is found to contain lead. Maybe all of this Chinese crap is the source of ADD, ADHD, and a host of learning disabilities. Does anyone think they are still getting a good deal at Walmart? Until they sort everything out, don't buy Chinese products, and don't shop at stores like Walmart.

Isn't it about time that we 'outsource' these products to the good old USA? I'm getting tired of all the junk from Mexico and China on the shelves. And it is NOTHING BUT JUNK!

The dam lawyers have caused this. We can't manufacture anthing here in the USA due to fear of lawsuits. As a result no good quality products to buy. When will it end? When were all poor and starving?

You do realize that even upscale stores like Macy's etc. import merchandise from the same place. The only difference is the grading system of the products. In essence, most of the time unless it is a well know recognized brand you are just paying more for the same thing made in the same place Walmart imports from. As an example, 99% of all designer handbags are made in China, Mexico & Taiwan whether you buy it at Nordstrom, or where ever.

I understand that people don't want to buy "Chinese Crap" ....
I assume they are willing to pay 10 or more times per item just to have a "Made in USA" label....
Or are you willing to work and make them yourself for less money than other jobs, like lets say 4 bucks an hour or less?

I would rather pay the extra, and do. I regularly seek out the "Made in USA" label on products that are of better quality and keep my fellow citizens employed.

Amen. Get out of those gutter dollar stores and shop in real stores, like the ones they have in small town America. There are many quality tools made in USA and sold in private hardware stores. If you look hard enough, you will find all kinds of products still made in the USA.

Think of it as another way of being patriotic.
