Moskos gets no sympathy from me. I can't even type any further as soon as I see I've misspelled a word; I immediately backspace and fix it.

One of the first rules of writing is CHECK YOUR OWN WORK. Don't rely on overworked copy editors who have tighter time constraints than you do to fix all your errors. Go back, read through and correct your mistakes. Of course, working at being a better speller and grammarian means fewer mistakes in the first place.
