Extended warranty scammers facing legal action

Why doesn't somebody go after these crooks? Lots of KOMO 4 viewers have asked us that question ever since the Problem Solvers sounded the alarm about a bogus telemarketing scheme that involves a shady extended ... via KOMO

I've filed a complaint with the FCC but we'll see what will happen. They've called me like 20 times with a pre-recorded message to a cell phone, totally illegal. As well as the spoofed caller-id. I had to play along with the sales-person to get a number and even then, she was very hesitant to give it to me.

I have filed two complaints with the FCC and I'm still waiting as well. They have called me for more than a month off and on and I'm sick of getting these calls at all hours of the day and night. I have requested multiple times to be removed from their list, but they do not honor those requests. I plan on continuing to file complaints with the FCC until they stop calling.

I suspect that is the same bunch that is calling me. Except they change their name--the last time I got a name of Warranty Associated Dealer. I tried to get an address--which of course any LEGITIMATE business would be able to give me. He gave me a reply like, "do you think I'm stupid." Then the guy had the gall of saying that I was calling them and that I was wasting their time.

Thank you for getting that company name and phone Thanh. Did you try calling back to see if that was the real number. If so I'm going to put that to good use.
