here we are again , high taxes , low employment and this is what our misrepresentatives are spending our money on ? Seth says we're "ahead of the curve" and talks about driving up phone bills ... no , you all have run us into the gardrail on that curve and the "unwanted text avertisements" will never come close to running up our bills like you guys have !!! Miller wants to "protect peoples privacy" , but isn't he the one who wants to put some type of meter in all our cars to TAX the mileage ? Miller , your right "we the people" don't want to be bothered ... by you , so how about working on something you promised you would do to get re-elected ! want to do some regulating , why don't you regulate yourselves out of a job instead of everyone else !

Text message advertising is a great, clean and green way to advertise!!
If the consumer OPTS IN like most will....this will be dead in the water. I want coupons and savings to be sent via text, when I OPT IN to a businesses mobile club or vip club.
This article is misleading and makes people frown upon something that we are way behind on here in the good ole U.S. of A......
Europe and Asia have been using this form of marketing and advertising for years....they need to be a little more clear in this article and educate themselves....
Not until the very end of the article does it state...about the OPT IN which you are asking or requesting being added to their list. People need to wake up. Technology is not going anywhere and the three things I leave with in the AM, are my keys, purse and cell phone!
WAKE UP!!! It is the fastest and cleanest, greenest way to advertise your biz.....educate is about to hit the states here hard in 2011~~~~~
We throw away millions and millions of coupons everyday!!
A huge WASTE!!!!!!
This cannot happen with this technology....Enough said!
