Have You Done This Test?

Has anyone tested to find out which day or days of the week are best for people to receive a direct mail peice, in terms of response? In other words, do you get a better response when people received the mail piece on a Tuesday rather than a Friday, and so on. Thanks!

Yes. Over the years we have found results substantially higher the earlier in the week the offer is recieved. Monday and Tuesday seems to increase response the most.
