I agree. The dentists are motivated by making money. One dentist put a two year old child in a papoose board which renders the child unable to move and did over $1000 worth of work so the dentist could get a percentage. Another dentist was tewlling people's children to shut up. I would never take my child there and allow him or her to be subjected to such treatment.
I 100% AGREE

I called Kool Smiles to make an appt. but then i started hearing terrible things about them. I google the reviews and I came across lots of reviews with people who have had bad experiences. I then called Kool Smile to cancel the appt. I have told them several several times that I decided to go with a different dentistry that has better reviews. They seemed understanding and just said "ok, have a nice day" but I'm still receiving phone calls every other day multiple times asking me when will I like to make an appt. for my daughter. And again.... as I have told them before I'M NOT INTERESTED IN MAKING AN APPOINTMENT ANYMORE. I feel like I'm being harassed. Then I had to just tell them that the previous owner of my phone no longer owns it. But they still continue to call. I'm tired of the calls and I don't want to get nasty with the receptionist or who ecer is placing the calls b/c I know it's their job but they should definitely take note of what I'm telling them!!!!!

!!!THEY SUCK AN WILL WAIST YOUR TIME!!!
Never have I had to deal with a more incompetent group of people. My appointment was cancelled and I was not notified, they said insurance was termed, if they ha called i would have giving then info for our new insurance; when they saw how upset i was, they couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation (Lawrenceville, GA office) the receptionist laid, saying they tired to reach me but couldn't (in all the 6yrs or so we've been going there, they've never been unable to reach us). I bite the bullet and made another appointment, provided her with the new insurance card. 7:30pm night before the new appointment date some calls to confirm the appointment, and again she said they didn't have new insurance info and will have to reschedule my appointment because they can't verify insurance on Saturday...full benefit info in online, if i can see it, I'm sure provider can too. I WILL BE FINDING MY FAMILY A NEW DENTAL PROVIDER!!! KOOL SMILE HAS BECOME A ROYAL PAIN OF INCOMPETENT AND TIME WASTING STAFF.

Went to kool smile worst place I've ever been racist ass people. Not knowing my insurance had expired a and needed a Dr. Note and at the bottom of it I see a note saying that not seen due to insurance inactive. I think that was very unnecessary ! And even worst their power went out . Imagine that !

I must say, Kool Smiles at Janaf in Norfolk, Virginia was the worst experience I have ever had at any type of doctors office. I had made an EMERGENCY appointment for 11:00 a.m. I had an absessed tooth and was in great pain. I was constantly ignored by the office staff and was not seen until 1:15 in the afternoon. So much for the emergency? I spent all of 5 minutes with an actual dentist, was given 3 prescriptions for medication and was told pick them up in 2 hours at my local pharmacy. So after all that drama I get to the pharmacy and only two of the scripts were actually called in. Tried to call Kool Smiles back but, to no avail. I finally got in touch with their emergency service located in Georgia and was told I have to wait for an on call doctor to call me back. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I will make it a point to tell anybody that wants to listen to never use Kool Smiles for any reason!

I went to Kool smiles for a check up,(I'm 16) and the hygienist was really rough with my teeth and she held me down. She made fun of my promise ring I have and she rubbed tooth paste into my hair after she got done making fun of me for it!! Then after my cleaning they left me sitting in the back for 3 hours!!

kool smiles in Salisbury hurt my son. saying he needed crowns. 3 months after the procedure his mouth swelled up around one of his crowns and I took him back. the dentist told me his mouth was fine .and that it wasn't swollen. clearly in pain, and swollen I took him to a Dr. they gave him antibiotics, and it helped for a little while. but never went away. well his mouth swelled again a couple months later ,and I took, him to another dentist. telling me he had two ...TWO abscess teeth. which means when the swelling first occurred it was an abscess, that the dentist either chose to overlook. or was too incompetent to recognize. this place either needs to be restaffed or completely shut down. things like that are completely unacceptable. and it disgusts me, that this company is practically torturing children for some extra money in their pocket.
