If the driving is this bad in the area, AND you want to make farmer style insults, then WHY are you even here? Sounds like you should jump off your pedestal...
I wasn't making any insults but merely showing you how idiotic your comment on sleep apnea was. Looks like you somewhat understood...
You're upset I'm "calling names" & then call my opinion "idiotic", you're very bright aren't you.

Your family has lived in this area since the 18th century, yet you have nothing nice to say about people in the area? Wow. All you've done so far is say that PA drivers are by FAR the worst. I guess since you are in that category, YOU are also one of the worst drivers out there.
And you are a leading expert in people's driving skills how? If this bothers you SO much, then WHY are you still in PA? Don't like it, then GET OUT.
Although, your comments are QUITE amusing, to say the least. I am truly laughing at how you are SO proud that your family has been here since the 18th century (which is meaningless to this story or comments), BLAST PA drivers saying that we are the WORST, and yet, YOU are a PA driver! Bwahaha!
I said my family has been in the state, not the region, two very different things, and yes I will still say that PA has the worst drivers of all the states I have been to. I, however, am not originally from PA, I also drive with more defense and fear than the average driver. Driving with fear makes one a safer driver. The naive and fearless driver, and the driver who has never been in a serious accident, is usually the one who fears not of anything on the road and knows not of how bad any impact can be, the innocence of an uncorrupted driver. I know what it's like to get hit full speed at 75 mph & be cut out of a car-always drive scared, & trust no one on the road, it just may keep you alive.

I love when mental midgets who've likely observed a microscopic percentage of drivers, make broad statements about driving skills. Colloquial thinking is still cute, though. I'll bet this guy's dad is stronger than yours ... and other sophomoric comparisons.
It's difficult to take seriously the comments of a poster who doesn't have the sense to drop AOL. I thought they were out of business, but apparently there are still lots of suckers who either enjoy being ripped off, or are not smart enough to cancel. Carry on, oh lofty rocket scientist. Is "You've got mail," still exciting?
Lol! So you don';t like what I said so you use AOL as the basis for your argument & justification? Are you serious???? Well, anyway, I do not use America Online to access these boards & no idea why it would say that, to be honest I don't even pay attention to what it does say, there have been many who have posted & it sometimes also lists towns that they don't even live in, Topix seems to have flaws in their system when it comes to that. One time it said I was from Allentown & I don't even live there.

Sorry, but in my extensive driving experience all over the NE US, the cream of the crop of TERRIBLE drivers is undoubtedly Massachussetts. No one even comes remotely close. I can spot them a mile before I see the license plate. Passing on the shoulder at high speed is something I believe they teach in Driver's Ed there. NJ is pretty agressive, but they are NOTHING compared to Mass. New York cab drivers to not even compare to a Mass. housewife in an SUV. We should let them drive in Iraq---they would probably drive around all the IEDs, just like they drive around everything else out there.
Ok, I will give you that one, Mass IS pretty bad, even though MA & PA are very close in terms of bad drivers. But yes Mass. is pretty bad, we are headed up there in a few weeks speaking of that area.

Well, there IS a difference between calling a person a name and saying that an opinion is idiotic. Sorry, but I just don't have the time to waste in explaining it to you.

Nah, not that much of a difference at all, but then again I'm speaking to someone who calls others' opinions "idiotic", I guess your opinion is the only one that is right, you are your own worst enemy. And too late, for someone who doesn't have the time to waste, you already just did. Have a super day Miss Perfect.

Having driven in at least 30 states, I can say that Pennsylvania actually has decent drivers. Of course the closer you get to Philly and NJ, those skills seem to diminsh, but the rest of the state is pretty good.

You can't legislate stupidity.

This is nanny state garbage doled out by idiots with an ego who think they can live our lives better than we can.

There are dumber things to do than cell-phones...

LIKE THIS....
Brushing teeth while driving...

OR THIS....
shaving while driving...

Lauren Weinstein is wrong, Data has been conclusive that cell phones cause accidents. Not to ban hand held cell phones because other distractions cause accidents too is silly.
Please! show me the proof. I'd like to see something more than anecdotal evidence.
