So to help a company that has struggled financially for a few years now. you would not be willing to help that company that keeps your pompas asses employed, by taking a 1 year 6.5% cut?

Good luck on the unemployment line, because if they can't get it figured out by years end, ABF will be on it's way in to bankruptcy.

but that is typical union mentality, give me more, give me more, give me more, but when the company gets in to trouble, it is sorry not going to help. I hope ABF does file bankrupty put the trash out of work and reopen as non-union.

I have been in the unemployment line ever time I get laid off!!!!!!! I know what its like I can do it again!!!!!!before I give back years of hard work teamsters before me fought for and if my memory serves me right I've heard this say song and dance before and we are still here.it may be hard for a non union worker to understand I'm not asking for more I'm willing to listen to work rule changes operational changes we are not the highest paid or the lowest paid we expect a fare days paid for a fare days work!

your only 5 hours away. I can be found at Richmond steel 5 days a week 9 hours a day. tell me the day you want to "I could get my point across a lot easier and make someone like you understand in person" and I will make sure I have no deliveries that day.

as for I don't understand, I was a Truck Driver teamsters Locals 582 Spokane, WA. we were working Kaiser steel, and they called for a strike because they 100% company paid benefits. we were alraedy making top scale and had 90/10 company paid insurance and the fuckers got greedy.
we struck sat out 18 months. we got strike pay and the union bosses collected their whole check. then people got stupid and started throwing rocks and bottles at management. people started sabatoging equipment, and lighting fires. well the talks ended they closed both plants and put 2500 people out of work. I don't understand I understand all too well.

YOu want to discuss it in person bring it.

. So as the rest of the nation is forced to take cut in benefits, and reduced work weeks, your willing to do nothing!! That's good to know. To help you look for a job, no need to apply at FedEx, OD, Siai, Conway or AAA Cooper, because as soon as they see you work for a union carrier, your a no hire!! So it YRC, or kiss the family bye your going to work over the road.

As it is now, the Teamsters must not be the highest paid truck drivers and dock workers as there are lots of non-union lines that make 23 bucks an hour, only thing the Teamsters have going for them is the benifits are company paid, or are they, since I was reading the Teamsters have to pay for health insurance, taken out of their checks. Correct me if I am wrong.
