It is a fact sales are down, profit is down. If you have a quality product for sale you will still have some sales. American Woodmark gave up on quality long ago.
This company has become a party company. If you work for them you know that. Quality comes last “Party on is the battle cry.” I’m not talking about the workers on the floor but it management types. Party or get let go or you will wish you were let go. The cussing and screaming at employees is awful.
Stockholders should look deep into the eyes of this mess and clean it up. Or just give up.
Ride the horse till it dies?

This is whom you work for- think they care about you?
When Hourly employees are being shorted- when time sheets are being cut by 15 to 20 minutes a whack without the workers knowledge. When workweeks are shorten to four days instead of five. Travel and party meetings all over the place just to kill time and blow money.
If you believe that things are not as said check this site out-the Law says you have to disclose this information that’s the only reason you can see it. Just go there and click around you will be shocked!
I know it is long but you can copy and paste. Lies will be lies - 5000 to 10000 shares of stock to upper do-nothings. Every quarter
This company closed one not long ago has more than one on the ropes and one with less that 30 people working on THE FLOOR and 20 in the office. Why 20 in the office? Fresh meat
They slash your time and cut your benefits? And NOT the playboys

Lay offs and short workweeks are to boost stock price for a fixed period of time.
It all follows the pay out in stock to the top management. They do this to run up the stock price when they get their bonus stock options.

management does not care about the trash that goes out the door ---things that did not go a few years ago are suddenly fine and we have too much of a trained eye. the management that they have now could care less about the people on the floor or the product---as long as they get their salary's all good!!! I say get rid of the management that was suppose to clean up the place and move up some of the people that have been there and actually knows what is going on. actually we employees sort of think that they do not want to clean up woodmark... no way corporate could be that blind to not see the problem with the plant now- compared to a few years back!!!!!

i work at the hardy plant .i never seen such a joke for management in my life.they do not care about the people or the poor quality of product they send out the door.the buyers need to look close at cabinets when they buy.they have such a big turn over in production and in management icannot blame the people for leaving most of time it is firing i think they get a turn on seeing people go out the door.please inspect your cabinets closely before you buy it is your hard earned money!!!!!!!!!!

I am a displaced worker from this company. They are nothing but a bunch of liers. There management must have been given classes in lieing to the workers. Ask a question never get answers or if you do it ends up being a lie. They closed the doors on us, told us they would help us gets jobs or schooling. I havent gotten $hi!. They wont hire us displaced workers at the new plant. I swear they have a black ball list there. I hope they all burn in hell

About the same here manage mouthing the workers treating them like crap and supervisors using favoritism is unreal especially in sanding department (door line). If they want quality they need to start with treating employees like there somebody instead of a piece of dirt then get someone in there that knows what quality is.. I don't even work there and know how it is and that's the bad part! Corp. manage needs to intervene!
