I wish they would focus on SR750 (Powell Road)/SR315. That intersection is horrible!!

Also another one is Orange Road/US23. It needs another lane so lazy f*cks dont have to use the dirt shoulder to turn right on to US23
keep it scenic

They only need to address 750 and 315 coming from Powell. That can and should be addressed by adjusting the timing of the light. That is a far better option that devastating a scenic road with another mega-intersection. And as a resident of powell (not the "rich" powell), having another major intersection on that stretch of road will devalue my property.

The Orange Road 23 intersection could use some improvement.

The Orange Rd & 23 intersection will see improvements over the next two years. The township is widening Orange Rd up to 23 from South Old State. Adding a center turn lane the length of it. They are currently widening Orange Rd East of South Old State.

Heard on the radio, some University or something had a study. The more roads a city has the more traffic it has directly proportional. So if a city adds 1% more roads traffic will go up 1% to match.

So it feeds on itself, build more roads to cut down on traffic and you end up getting more traffic and of course that leads to urban sprawl.

This project is a case of MORPC chasing after Federal dollars in order to justify their existence. The statistics have been skewed to show excessive accidents on the entire stretch of road when they are mostly just north of the intersection of Polaris Parkway and S.Old State. The proposals won't reach as far north as I live but will take a significant portion of the front yards of several people I know. All for bikepaths that will go unused. This is not Dublin, Westerville or Powell - this project doesn't even benefit all of the township. It is the brainchild of an overbudgeted, overstaffed MORPC and clueless Orange Township Trustees. Improve the intersection at Polaris and South Old State, put a traffic light at the intersection of Old Powell and Polaris and another one at the crossroads of the subdivisions just south of Orange Road. Don't take more of our property, don't add medians, don't make OUR road a superhighway. It will only draw more trucks and the folks who are too lazy to use Rt. 23 or I-71. It will make OUR road a direct route from the Kroger Distribution Center to Franklin County. We knew the area would grow and have to put up with the intolerant drivers in our area who honk at us when we just want to turn into our driveway and throw their trash in our front yard. It is time for OUR NEIGHBORS to stand up for US - those who have lived here for 20 years plus - and let the Engineers know this is NOT the answer for our County, Township or neighborhoods. Let your children ride their bike in your neighborhood. Someone shouldn't have to lose up to 16' of their front yard and the property depreciation it represents so your family can bike past the 50 mph cars and semis that will stream from one end of the county to the other. Please consider this plea from your neighbors and squash this plan!

An overpass for orange rd railroad tracks is needed. Traffic on orange eastbound will back all the way to 23 during rush hour when trains roll by. Also I have seen emergency vehicles in route waiting for trains. It is not safe!!

So if we do the reverse and cut all roads down to one lane each way, then traffic will just hum along!

Simple cure would be to make the road as calm as it was back in the 70's like it should have stayed.
People have the right to buy and live there. Just like you have the right to buy land to keep them from living there. Stop trying to remove peoples freedom.

We learned from a local business owner that Delaware County/Orange Township will never put a traffic light at Old Powell and Polaris. There have been too many accidents there with people making a left onto east bound Polaris Parkway from Old Powell at the most busiest times of the day. Instead they should then prohibit left turns from westbound Old Powell to eastbound Polaris Parkway form 7-9 am and 4-7 pm, Mon-Fri. Currently, if it is during those hours and more than likely we know that traffic will be backed up southbound Old State going to eastbound Polaris, we get onto eastbound Polaris from Cameron drive near the Donatos where there is a traffic light! Granted it creates more traffic going through the strip mall, but It is much safer!
