We all know Frank Bergman is the best thing that has happened to this Village since 'running water'... multiple new buisnesses now in place and soon to be here, expanded tax base, paved streets, YMCA, reorganization of the Park/ Golf Course, and his never ending endevers to eliminate waste and corruption in various Village Departments that we taxpayers are paying for. When you turn on your radio to listen to the "oldies" there's one thing that pops into your mind immediately. You've heard this song before. It never wavers from the original. This so called "miraculous project" of Bergmans might one day change it's tune but for right now, it's the same words... "See what I'm gonna do!" I havent seen any progress on this for the past 5 years. At least put a shovel into the ground Frank so we can see some progress. Is this where the 4M worth of TIF money is going? I guess we're going to pay them to come here too without approval from the citizens like you did with the YMCA?

It will probably grow faster and larger than the 255/111 coridor in the Pontoon/Wood River area. What I am not aware of is the "corruption in varouis Village Departments", this could slow down, if not eliminate progress. What type of corruption are we talking about here?

This is not a Bergman idea. He had nothing to do with this The county Economic Development did this project. They just let him know as a courtesy. Because the land is in Cahokia. But owned by Parks Bi State Development. And corruption. It's trouble it startes with T and ends with E and I do mean trouble. Right here in Cahokia. And it all is fueled by Bergman.

Let start with poker machines fueling the st clair county political machine payoffs and favors for property tax brakes and the list goes on. Do you really think all those machines in every Cahokia bar and club don't pay out? Many know who is at the top of the poker machine club,Please someone post a name! Property taxes- Golf fundraisers and pay offs these thing will make your taxes go down just donate and see. Someone needs to call the FBI put the guilty people behind bars!

Fees to the Village that were previously unaccounted for. That has been remedied. Lack of efficiencies of various support Departments. Personnel are slowly but surely being held accountable. Internal issues really that have not and should not effect the growth of the 157/3/255 foot print.

On another topic there was 9 million dollars in the TIF fund and this was in 2003. Now there is around $750,000.00 left. Where is the money. I know 2 million went to Nova Plaza, what happened to the rest? Since the people of Cahokia pay this money shouldn't we have a say in how it is spent. This really should be invesigated and the TIF be stopped if they are not willing to account for the money. Spend the money on your family or your home and the hell with TIF.
