Separating a father from his six year old son, the court should be ashamed.
So by your twisted logic, any father who commits a crime, no matter how heinous, should beat the rap? That's about the stupidest thing I've heard today!

As a PROUD AMERICAN of Italian descent, I love to see these slimy disgraceful excuses for human life go down for their crimes! I will NEVER understand the attraction poeple have to these low-lifes, nor can I understand how people can defend them, and even put them on pedestals. People, and especially those with Italian heritage, if you must idolize someone, please find someone who has done someting POSITIVE for the community, not some characature with the funny nickname and the pinky ring.
Well said!

how many million of dollars was spent by the FBI and others on putting this man in jail, when we have the M13 walking around killing people, the mexican mafia and so many more gangs much more dangerous to us than the italian mafia, but this is what gets the most publicity, so this is where they go, maybe if some more jurors just said this is BS with all we have going on and found these so called mafia guys nor guilty, the Gov would get on the and arrest much more dangeous criminals
"...so-called mafia..."???

You must be one of those who says:

"There is no Mafia, and we'll kill anyone who says there is"!

By the way, the federal prisons are full of MS13 gang members, as well as Russians, Chinese, Mexican, and all sorts of other ethnic criminals. Unfortunately for you and your friends, the FBI can multi-task!

Really good idea! Keep your mouth shut, and go to jail. While you and your family suffer, the ones who run the show, and who really belong in jail, are living large.

Unlike Michael Corleone and John Gotti Jr., at least Vinnie's son still has a chance to grow up and have a normal life, instead of following his father into the mob.

<quoted text>You gotta be kidding! This guy is a cold blooded killer, not just someone who "hustles a few bucks". The fact that you defend a Mafioso like him speaks volumes about who YOU are!
It's low life goombahs like you who give the rest of the Italian American community a bad name!
Please don't try to use common sense and logic with these morons. They still think John Gotti Sr. was (1) a zipper salesman,(2) a family man and (3) a heterosexual. These j3rkoffs cannot handle the truth.

If there truly is a God, and I beleive there is one, this kid will be gunned down in cold blood before he's 19 and his corpse raped.

Why they just don't have him neutered and / or put to sleep is beyond me. After all, this should have been a case for the A.S.P.C.A.

Bonanos are a bunch of animals with no human values nor emotions.

Actually..........

March 2, 2007 -- Like father, like son.

The son of mob boss Vincent "Vinny Gorgeous" Basciano became a convicted felon yesterday, just like dear ol' dad.

Stephen Basciano, 22, was convicted of second-degree assault for punching a neighbor in the face for ratting out his younger brother, who allegedly flashed the victim's wife in Throgs Neck in 2005.

As he was led from the courtroom in handcuffs, Stephen - who faces up to seven years behind bars when he's sentenced March 19 in Bronx Supreme Court - had a few words for his victim and the victim's wife.

"They're loony bins," he said. "I think the DA looks like Scrooge," he added.

Was he just sticking up for his younger brother?

"Yep," he said as court officers hauled him away. He was expected to be released within 48 hours after posting $50,000 bail.

Prosecutors had maintained that Stephen Basciano was guilty of first-degree assault for picking up a brick-like object and hitting James Neider, 37, in the eye with it, breaking several bones. Neider's cheek had to be rebuilt with plates and screws.

Tony the "tough guy" is just another mob wannabe who can't spell or talk properly. He probably says things like "dees" and "does". He will say things like: Dees are the biggest dicks I ever sucked. Does are the biggest balls I ever seen.

You morons have no idea what you are talking about. If you knew Vinny you would know what a nice guy he really is.
The guy that was killed was a stone cold junkie who set out to kidnap one of Vinny's sons. You don't make threats like that to a boss no less.
Wake up people!

Imagine that, they want people to believe that someone who's the "boss" of a CRIME FAMILY is a nice guy.
The more they talk the dumber they sound.
