This is simply a bi-product of a real estate/construction industry nearly destroyed by an over reaching city hall. As we stated earlier this summer the moratorium imposed this past summer would have many severe negative consequences many of which would be apparent upfront but many others lagging. This as many sure to follow of lagging indicators should serve as a wake up call to us here in park city who actually own property or care about the RE mkt in general. The damage inflicted by the city council, planning commiss etc should have real consequences for those involved. This is not a game, this involves real people, real balance sheets and real careers. Speaking of careers, many of yours should never have been as long as they have!

Because of your negative tone towards King Dana, he has dispatched the Sustainablity Department to monitor your idling time. You will be punished!

Umm, have you heard of the national nightmare which is the real estate market, getting worse all over the county during the past year?

I wonder if our city council decision applied there as well.

Come on, that decision you reference was stupid, and has been rescinded. Saying that the rule is the reason for crappy local construction numbers ignores the fact that this is happening all over the place. Blame the coucil when they blow it - that's good, but please, let's try to stay honest about why the industry is in such trouble.

Ummm, either you're rather disconnected from the constr industry or not doing well in it b/c of your lack of intellectual understanding of the issues at hand. I would not credit our genius leadership at city hall w/ much. However, there is a direct 100% correlation with their actions and the immediate drop/halt to almost every project in works as well as spec activity which probably set us back 6-8 months and also added an unknown risk factor people outside of pc who have now heard about this are now talking about-the fact that our RE mkt is run by a bunch of inexperienced kooks in city hall who act as a wildcard to any potl investor-hence acting as one more roadblock to capital re-entering pc.. the common response,'why would i deal w/ all their kooky, ever changing laws, im heading to CO where they respect the rule of law"

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Cancer

Today's Full Moon will have a powerful impact on your health during the next few months. Maybe this is the spur you need to inspire you to take better care of yourself, such as improving your diet, getting more exercise or finally consulting the doctor about something that's worrying you. It will also be the end of a chapter connected with your work, but don't fret because this ending will lead on to a new beginning.
