Hi all,
I'm trying to find a site that gives more detail into the ingredients and purpose of each ingredient for heatset ink. I mean detail. I've already found sites like the following:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ink
http://offsetpressman.blogspot.com/2011/07/wh...

But I need something more detailed. A breakdown. What it is and what it does. Even in the GATF material this is hard to find. Can anyone help me?

Ink is a liquid or paste that contains pigments and/or dyes and is used to color a surface to produce an image, text, or design. Ink is used for drawing and/or writing with a pen, brush, or quill. Thicker inks, in paste form, are used extensively in letterpress and lithographic printing.
