depending on how old the press is (year)...the fountain roller should be fine (i dont think you need to tear everything apart) the previous owner probably dropped the fountain on the ground and bent it ....it only takes a little bit for it to leak...
so you may have to fork over the money for a new ink fountain..........

If I understand correctly, you're wanting to clear the count after a run. Push sheet count,0(zero),E(enter).

I am new to running a press and my work has an AB Dick 9850. The question I am hoping to get answered is why would there be sheets that have nothing printed on them at all? Meaning it will be running fine and then all of the sudden there will be sheets that go through and come out with no ink on them. There is no pattern to it, it just happens like once every ten sheets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try clearing out the paper lint around the metal feed roller. Especially around the feed sensor.

You need to replace the sensor under the feed rollers. They wear out periodically

You need to look into replacing the paper sensor under the feed end. It is a small black box mounted on the chrome feed plate by the feed rollers
