Why is the cameraman walking on the tracks?

"How a woman pedestrian was killed by a train?" Hmmmm? Maybe standing on the tracks and coming in direct contact with the train? It is such a perplexing question. We can rule out the train veering off course can't we? No derailments in the area, right? Astonishing.

Another good question. We should call the railroad police and report this. Someone used to call them on me when I used to ride my minibike on the tracks. Never got caught and never got run over!

You obviously had a brain and a good idea as to what you were doing. The tent gypsies out there now are usually drunk and/or high.

Look everyone! We've got a bad-a55 over here...afraid of filming for 10 seconds on empty train tracks. Why would you write that other than to be a f4aggot?

Being as the woman was stuck at 9PM on the"homeless highway", it could be a number of reasons she didn't move. That section(she was hit between Woolen Mills and MJH) is used regularly by the dozens of people who live in the woods in their "cities". Yes folks, it's more than 2 people squatting in tents back there. They have made muti-room houses from various building materials and such, and have fashioned woodstoves and beds.
That section of tracks is the shortcut from their city to Pantops, downtown, or to the 64 exit ramps where they can often be found holding signs for money. It's a wonder there haven't been more accidents(or maybe there have been, just nobody cared to report them).

Well one would think if you have no where to go you would do what you have to to survive I think it is good they have made a place to get out of the weather but dont everyone dont jump to conclusions that she was drunk any thing is possible such as pushed in front of the train or anything.

Train tracks are for trains just as roads are for cars. The train conductor must have been texting right?

Accident? Suicide? Homeless? Sober? Drunk? Or Whatever, you all have a lot of funny jokes about someone being killed and a train conductor having a horrible memory for the rest of his life. It's interesting to read from so many people that are so much smarter than the rest of us and that have never fallen down in their lives. Do any of you realize what that probably looked like or what the people that probably had to clean it up? Yeah you all are real funny jokesters. Idiots.

Was the conductor driving the train? Engineers typically perform that job.

I wasn't trying to be funny. I was just speculating. I can only imagine 2 scenarios where people can get hit by a train: 1)they are unconscious or 2)they want to get hit. Even deaf people would feel the vibrations of the train in time to get out of the way if they wanted to.

perhaps you should speculate privately (while on the pot) and not vocalize your every thought; restating the obvious....

Gee, I'm sorry, well, no I'm not, I save my compassion for those who deserve it, like the kids in Newtown.
