Doctor to urge class to serve

Published on Saturday, May 17, 2008 Doctors exist not just to serve patients, but to serve their community, whether they define that as a nearby neighborhood, an entire city, or, for Dr.

"such as male circumcision, and other disease-fighting tools already common in developed countries." Just for the record, circumcision is common in ONLY ONE developed country - The USA. And the USA has the highest level of STDS of ANY developed country. Look it up. Learn. Don't cut.

very true,when was the last time a doc called you to see how you were doing after you went to them for help, all they say is come and see them agin and pay more to tell them they did not help you,very sad but true

I only had one call me later to check on how I was.

Dr Price a Wonderful chiropractor in akron...

It shocked me. I thought My insurance wasnt going to pay so he was checking on how I would pay. That is the main reason Other dr's offices had called me in the past...

Here He just wanted to make sure I was resting and put Ice on my back. And to call him if it didnt feel better soon.

those are some real great posts people. How many of you sacrificed 11-16 years of training to do what you wanted to do? How many of you have upwards of $170,000 in student loans from your schooling? How many of you work nearly 100 hours a week? How many work every other weekend for their patients?? Nobody forces you to go to doctors, so why don't all of you do the world a favor and never see a doctor again for the rest of your lives!

Then how are those doctors going to pay off all of those loans if people dont go???

Your really doing them a favor. THey will have to retrain for another 4 to 8 years to get a job making close to what they are now...

During that time who is going to pay for their cars homes or food on the family table...

Personally I have run in to basically 2 types of doctors in my life.

The one type is smart and wants to help people with their intelligence.

The other is smart and wants to make a lot of money on their intelligence....

Personally I keep going back to the first type when I need one..
