Alaska woman forgives son accused of killing her parents, siste...

The mother of a teenager accused of stabbing to death four people, including the mother's parents, said she has forgiven her son and knows her parents would, too.

Problems. Yeah, it seems like murdering four people would be a problem for somebody. Sounds like this kid should have been committed some time back. At least he mostly kept the bloodshed in the family.

I am not against the situation where mom forgives her son. Mom is always mom to her children. However, I don't understand what you stated that he is not a bad person. He murdered four people. Are you assuming this was a temporary insanity tragedy?

If you were from the town you wouldn't have to "assume" this is a case of temporary insanity. That's just some nicely titled package that just means that he flipped. I'm sure you've felt the urge to punch a hole in a wall or two and from what i hear this wasn't much different of a situation. I lived in that town for the last fifteen years, had ties with the family, knew all of the victims. And up until this, he was seen as a normal member of the community, nothing out of the ordinary (maybe considered a little stupid by people in the same age group). You always hear people saying the same things after something like this happens: "he was such a nice boy" "never saw it coming". This is no exception. So, Budhi from California, consider that the members of the community where this happened will know better than you what kind of a person Jason Abbott is.

i think iraq is a different storie compared to killing family memebers there is a big difference

I think Sitka in general needs to reform as a community. Many people are suppressed, ruined by gossip, not much employment opportunities, a place more bars than churches and rampid drug abuse. You make one mistake in this society and you are ruined forever. There seems to be a lot of child abuse/ neglect in the past. I guess a person can only take so much of "Sitka being in Sitka' Its a power thing, once the abused struggles for power or grows up, this happens, they freak out violently and finally " this child within does"

End violence in Sitka against personal whether or not they are worthy in your book, nobody deserves to die, be raped, beat, If you have a history and you experience violence "it's o.k." she's just 'drunk" then its o.k. in Sitka. until it happens to you
