Murdoch was smart to walk away. Newspaper values are crumbling. This paper will be worth $200 million in three years, and $100 million in five. Nothing changes the fact that it is giving away its stories for free on the web, without figuring out how to make money on that first. I hope Dolan runs out the editor and his little henchwomen.
