I am a 35 year old woman that does not smoke and was recently on the Seasonale birth control pill. I started taking the pill in March06 and was hospitalized in January 07 due to multiple blood clots in my lungs. The clots caused damage to my right lung. I started taking birth control at age 17 and never encountered problems until Seasonale.

My 35yr old daughter took seasonale and a week later developed a blood clot, had a stroke and died. Yes it needs to be taken off the market.

I was prescribed seasonale for irregular periods by my gyn about 3 yrs ago, I was assured by this doctor it was perfectly safe because I was a non smoker. About 3 months taking these pills I developed large pulminary embolisoms in both lungs! I almost died! Is there any compensation for our pain, suffering, and sometimes deaths?

Old drug or natural things more safe.
New drug needs more time to check the safety.
Take care.

I started taking the pills when I was 17 and less then three months later I was in the hospital for 80 blood clots in my legs and abdomen I spent over two weeks in two different hospitals and almost died from complications, this is not a safe product and should not be offered to women.

I started taking Seasonale just two weeks ago. Last friday I developed blood clots in my leg. I have taken other BCPs for years, none with any side effects. Only Seasonale.

I took this pill in 2005 to control a bad case of endometriosis. The "break through" bleeding was beyond what break through bleeding should be. a few months later i ended up in the hospital with 2 blood clots in my lower left leg and needed a blood transfusion due to being severaly anemic from the "break through" bleeding. My cardiologist and primary doctor were amazed i was still functioning and said it's rare to become so severly anemic from menstrual bleeding. Also, a DNA test proved that i don't carry the gene/history of blood clots. This pill gave me the worst 6 months of my life.

I was 35 yrs old when I first started Seasonale and with in 3 weeks I was in the Hospital for DVT/Blood clots in my leg. I had a two week stay, the Hospital was calling for payments while I was still in my bed, I had no insurance and my bill was about 35,000. I ended up having to file Bankruptcy due to this as well.

I have looked but am unable to find any Class action suit for this, does anyone else know of any? There are SO MANY of us that with in weeks to months had DVT's.

Redhairshanda@yahoo.com Subject SEASONALE if you are interested in looking into a suit.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Leo

You're in a very idealistic mood today, making it almost impossible for you to view loved ones in their true colors. If they've got any faults you won't see them because you'll have blanked them out. This rosy vision of your nearest and dearest is fine if it doesn't last long but it will cause problems if it persists and you continue to brush any problems under the carpet.
