Salix says FDA approves diarrhea drug Fulyzaq
Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. said Wednesday that the Food and Drug Administration approved its drug Fulyzaq, which is designed to treat diarrhea in patients taking HIV and AIDS drugs.

This is a cool example of how we continue to find great uses for natural products. According to http://www.rxwiki.com/fulyzaq "Fulyzaq works by blocking chloride ions from excretion in the gut, causing less sodium and water to be excreted, thereby reducing diarrhea symptoms." All that from sap!
